Just. Hit. Record.
Back in May, 2019 Anthony decided he didn’t want to be just a listener anymore; he wanted to be a host. With that decision in mind, he did a research about good microphones for podcasting, hit “record”, and just let the words out. Starting a show for his audience gave him the opportunity to not just learn about other people’s stories, but to tell his own. This vulnerability allowed the show to grow by itself and reach a much larger collection of listeners.
“We all have a story to tell, we all went through unique situations” – Anthony Spada. Catch him on this episode from Operation Podcast (www.operationspodcast.com).
Power of Connection
Besides sharing experiences and creating a valued content, starting a podcast also made Anthony expand his relationships and connections. The majority of guests who made an appearance on his show received an invitation simply via Instagram DMs. Breaking the ice with a guest via social media first really influenced the type of conversations that he would have with the guest on the show, making it more organic.
“A lot of people are afraid of what might someone say” – Anthony Spada. Catch him on this episode from Operation Podcast (www.operationpodcast.com).
Growing an Audience
His coaching business also experienced a significant growth. By having guests with a large list of followers, his profile started to catch attention, which led to a natural visibility for his business. In addition, consistency and the “keep-showing-up” mentality also had an important role on this growth, propelling his message.
“You are receiving good things, because you are giving” – Anthony Spada. Catch him on this episode from Operation Podcast (www.operationspodcast.com).
