In five episodes of the Uncover YOU podcast we’re putting one of the most powerful principles for transformation to work: to turn towards that which we want to change. Instead of running from our minds, we’re going to look closely at the fear-based dream that has snuck in. More than that, we’re going to have a conversation with the Devil himself, hiding in any mind that is run by fear.
You can follow along by reading the book Outwitting the Devil by Napoleon Hill, and then listen to each of the episodes where I’m connecting it with the self mastery work and giving your journal prompts to apply the insights from the book to your own process.
In episode five, the Devil spills the beans on how to get out of his grip and attain spiritual, mental and physical freedom. You might find it surprising (and somewhat unsettling) to receive advice on your personal freedom from the Devil, but who would know better than the one who manages to hook your attention again and again? Think about it.
It’s as brilliant as asking your boxing opponent: “What should I get really good at to beat you?” Your boxing opponent likely won’t reveal her weak spots, but the Devil does. Simply because he’s a part of you, and you a part of him. Understand this simple truth and much is gained.
Only the Devil knows his weaknesses, or rather, where his control over you begins and where it ends. By turning towards, by actually asking instead of guessing, you’ll receive surprising and powerful insights.
I also take the liberty to add to the list of ways out from the fear-based mind, from my own conversations with the Devil, and invite you to have your own little chat…
