Hi Friends,

Eczema is a skin condition that affects millions of people around the world, and certainly all of us, but I'd say THE MOST FRUSTRATING PART is feeling ambiguous about the root cause of eczema. In the pediatrician's office is where I would feel most hopeless because in my search for answers, I got recommendations for symptom management in the form of vaseline, steroids and wet wraps...they couldn't tell me WHY this condition was disrupting our lives. My self-guided internet searches turned out just as confusing and hopeless.

Today we are debunking some limiting myths you may have heard in the doctor’s office or on the playground or on the internet that make you feel as sad as our itchy little friends.

I'm aiming to provide you with accurate information about eczema and autoimmunity in general, in efforts to bring you hope and a sense of empowerment because eczema is not a life sentence of unknown triggers. We don’t have to wait around for our kids to hopefully (fingers crossed) grow out of it. Once we understand the condition a little more, there is a whole lot we can do to to lesson its effects.
