EP 84: Covert vs Malignant Narcissists with Stephany Ann

Listen Later

If you have google searched “Is my husband/partner a narcissist?” then it is very likely that they are.

You know that something is wrong, but it does not feel like domestic violence is the correct term because you’ve never been hit.  You’ve read some things on narcissism, but what you know of narcissism doesn’t quite fit your partner.

So what is it?

In this episode, I talk with Stephany Ann on some of the differences between covert narcissists and  overt, malignant narcissists and how they will show up differently in your relationship and post separation.  Stephany shares her experiences of being married to one of each and what it looked like post separation.  We also touch on the misconceptions of domestic violence that are keeping women stuck in these abusive relationships and the misconception that after one abusive partner you will know all of the red flags to look for in your next partner.

Meet an extraordinary woman , an attorney and recipient of the governor's award for advocacy with survivors of domestic violence, who triumphed over narcissistic abuse. With two marriages to narcissists behind her, she’s harnessed the transformative power of Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) to guide others on their path to healing and personal growth. Her transformation came when she shifted from “why me” to “for me”. Hear her incredible story today!

You can email Stephany at [email protected] to connect with her on Facebook and LinkedIn.
