The men’s Ironman World Championships in Nice will go down as one of the most thrilling races in triathlon history. From early drama in the swim, to Laidlow’s comeback ride, to a Norwegian sweep of the podium — this was a race that showcased the evolution of the sport.
Jenna (@jennacaer), Josh (@joshmvernon), and Fede (@fedemultisport) break it all down, then sit down with the man who built the foundation for this dominance: Arild Tveiten.
As the longtime performance director and coach for the Norwegian Triathlon Federation, Arild was there at the beginning — when Norway had no history in the sport and just 15 junior athletes. Among them were Kristian Blummenfelt, Gustav Iden, and Casper Stornes. What started as a small experiment grew into the most talked-about training system in the world: the Norwegian Method.
In this episode you’ll hear:
This isn’t just a race recap. It’s the inside story of how a coach and a group of teenagers from Norway reshaped triathlon forever.
