We talk a lot about supplements, nutrition, and exercise to build a healthy lifestyle but one aspect that doesn't get enough attention is what we can do for our mental health. Our mental health is so intertwined with our physical health, but we often don't take the time to nurture it like we should. In this episode, I sit down with Brittany Lutren to talk about somatic tools for stress management and regulation.
Brittany is a holistic psychotherapist and founder of the Niyama Center in Michigan. Brittany specializes in CBT, DBT, EFT, EMDR, solution-focused, strength-based and mindfulness therapy. Her therapy practice aims to heal the mind and body all together through a combination of movement and therapy.
Healing is a journey and it takes time. Be loving and patient with yourself. Know that there's help out there for you and it may not be that first therapist, but there's somebody out there that will be the right match to help you. So take time. And if you need help, get the help. There are resources out there to help you and to support you in a non-judgmental way.
