Robb shares his background and story, including his own breakdown to breakthrough experience, which took him from a vegan diet, poor circadian rhythm, autoimmune issues, ulcerative coliti, which all in was also impacting his mental health. He shares his journey from vegan to a paleo/ancestral diet and how it drastically improved his quality of life. Robb has a rich and diverse background, working with tens of thousands of people teaching fitness and nutrition, Navy Seals, Olympic champions, world champions and people that have health issues like Robb, at the end of their rope, and looking for solutions. He is an accomplished author with massively popular books selling millions of copies and that's really just scratching the surface.

Robb talks about the motivation by the mainstream to remove red meat from people's diets. His latest book, Sacred Cow, goes into this in depth, but you need to hear what he's saying in this episode. Robb is also talking about the ethics dialogue around eating meat, addresses the climate rhetoric around ruminant animals, regenerative agriculture, the narrative we are being fed and how incredibly wrong it is and the red flags that the vast majority are missing right now as the mainstream works to stifle the consuption of red meat, while pushing the most questionable alternatives.

Robb Wolf, is a former research biochemist and 2X New York Times/Wall Street Journal Best-selling author of The Paleo Solution and Wired To Eat. He and co-author Diana Rodgers recently released their book, Sacred Cow, which explains why well-raised meat is good for us and good for the planet. Robb has transformed the lives of hundreds of thousands of people around the world via his top-ranked Itunes podcast, books and seminars. He's known for his direct approach and ability to distill and synthesize information to make the complicated stuff easier to understand.

Robb co-founded the 1st and 4th CrossFit affiliate gyms in the world, he holds a brown belt in Brasilain Jiu Jitsu, is a former California State Powerlifting champion and as part of the Discovery Channel's "I-CaveMan" series, Robb took down a 650lb elk with an Atlatl (a hand thrown spear).
