On this week’s episode we are joined by IFBB Bikini Pro Marisa Ross, a woman with an incredible story of resilience and determination.  Marisa is a wife and mother of 3 who earned her IFBB pro card at her second competition, NPC Masters Nationals in 2023.  Marisa wasted no time getting her feet wet in the pro league and took home a pro win just the next year in the Masters Pro 50+ division at the Klash!  

Marisa developed a love for the bodybuilding lifestyle in her teenage years but it wasn’t until she escaped an abusive marriage, navigated life as a single mom and overcame the challenges associated with menopause that she finally pursued what was a lifelong dream of getting on stage!  In this episode we discuss the significant impact of menopause on her mental and physical health and how finding the right provider gave her back her zest for life!  We know that so many women can relate to the struggle of self-worth and self-efficacy as well as the stigma of aging- Marisa is a true ROCK STAR and her journey shows us that it's never too late to pursue your passions.
