This week we speak to the amazing Femmi Physiotherapist, Grace Coombs. Grace works closely with females who may have pelvic floor or abdominal concerns secondary to pregnancy, postnatal, endometriosis and other hormonal disorders or menopause. We speak to Grace about how women should be tracking their cycle at all times, common injuries amongst women and confirming whether or not the myth that women are more susceptible to injuries at different time of our cycles is true. Grace also shares her own journey with RED-s and how it can affect us long term.

We have COVID. In very Femmi fashion, both Esther and Lydia are in sync and managed to get covid together, although in different countries. In this episode we talk about our journey so far with COVID. Hannah has a background in Law and Commerce, with 4 years experience in the corporate world but in 2016 her interest in holistic wellness inspired her to leave her corporate role and pursue Psychology studies. We speak to Hannah about spirituality, our inner child, mindfulness practices and how we can bring more self love into our own lives.

This week we have an amazing athlete based in New Zealand Symone Tafuna'i. Symmy is a New Zealand representative sprinter and was part of the NZ 4 x 100m relay for U20 World Champs in 2016. Aside from being an incredible athlete, Symmy has recently become a qualified journalist and recently started working as a digital sports reporter for TVNZ. Symmy is extremely open and vulnerable with her mental health journey and is an inspiration to many in how she deals with unfortunate challenges she has had to face.

In this episode we interview one of our incredible coaches, Laura Nagel. Laura is not only an incredible coach but is equally, an incredible athlete. Laura has been running since she was a teenager, representing New Zealand and spent 6 years running in the United States taking part in the NCAA system. More recently Laura has claimed the New Zealand titles for both the mile and the 3000m for 2022 and is on the hunt for more podium spots. We speak to Laura about her running journey, her learnings growing up as an athlete and how she see's change for womens sport in the future.
