Most people’s systems are out of whack, with their sympathetic nervous system (fight flight or freeze mode) dominating. This leaves you functioning as a very reduced version of yourself because all your energy is reverted to the parts of your brain that just help you survive. Kava helps reset that and build up the parasympathetic nervous system, which is the state where your body can heal and recover, where you can connect with people, and where you can open up your higher aspirations cognitively and emotionally as well.
In this next interview, I get to spend some time with someone who has become a dear friend, Cameron George. Cameron is the co-founder of one of my favorite products called Tru Kava.
I met Cameron about five years ago, where he was serving kava at an event I was attending. I had my first sample of this beverage that's been around for thousands of years in the South Pacific, and I was blown away. I felt so good. I felt euphoric. I felt my heart was open.
I had this massive desire to connect with people and for social interaction. Normally I would reach for alcohol in order to have that feeling, but this was so much better.
I love that this is a natural product that not only feels good in the moment, but can actually change my brain over time for the better.
In this episode, Cameron shares his incredible story of such adversity, nearly losing his life to chronic illness and how kava actually pulled him through. And that's why he's doing what he does now, bringing kava to the masses. He also shares tons of great information about kava (what it is, what it isn’t, what it does, uses for it, etc.).
I am so excited for you to listen to this guy. He just spews information, so get ready!
