Every day I hear, endless excuses for why people cannot stick to a fitness program and follow through on their fitness goals. The meal plan is too hard. The cardio too boring. They don’t have access to a gym. They don’t like the food. The list goes on and on.
And it got me thinking. Human beings can endure the most incredible hardships when necessary. Just ask any mother of a newborn baby who is on an endless cycle of sleepless nights, cracked nipples and emotional exhaustion. But yet she keeps fighting day after day and night after night, caring for her newborn.
So what makes someone endure that kind of pain but not the pain of following through on a fitness program? The answer lies in knowing your why.
When you know your why you will endure anyhow. Your why will quite simply help you find your way. In this episode, I share my own journey of finding my why. And I hope after listening to it, you will also find your why. Because you are capable of great things, if you can just connect deeply to your reasons for doing it.
