    Send us Fan Mail

When we're feeling like shit or feeling stuck it's EASY to feel sorry for ourselves or to wish we were further along than we are right now. But I encourage you to look back instead of looking ahead. In what ways are you different today than you were back then? THAT is something to be proud of, something worth celebrating.  I know it doesn't come easy to you to recognize your growth so let this be your reminder.

  • 120. [PEP TALK] 4 tips to overcome PERFECTION and do the damn thing

    Send us Fan Mail

The idea of perfectionism has been coming up a lot lately so I wanted to talk about it here. So often we allow perfection to keep us from starting something or to quit when we feel like we're not good enough. But when we do this we rob ourselves of so many opportunities. So today I'm sharing 5 tips that I use to overcome perfection and do the damn thing.

    1. Make sure you're making conscious deciosn and that you're aware of your unconscious beliefs
    2. Give yourself a pep talk like you would if your kids had the same issue
    3. Think of all the opportunities you'll be robbing yourself of if you quit
    4. Track your progress so that you can look back and see how far you've come and celebrate the shit out of that

  • 117. This simple hack will cut your stress levels in half!

    Send us Fan Mail

If your stress levels are at a 10 and you want them to be at a 5, this is the episode for you! It's so easy for us moms to get ourselves all stressed out over our problems.  We tend to take a problem that is reasonably small and and tell ourselves all kinds of stories about it until it feels like something we can't manage. The problem itself can usually be managed. We have to release control over the problem and start to take control over our thoughts about the problem.

    Send us Fan Mail

It's unpopular opinion time! The message "Put yourself first" or "Fill your cup first" doesn't resonate with so many moms because there are too many situations and circumstances that truly do not allow for that. So when a mom sees or hears this messaging she feels annoyed, not empowered. I know I'm guilty of perpetuating this message sometimes so I wanted to set the record straight here.
