bonus ep!!! today we’re talking brutal hangovers, drunk phone calls, rejection, humiliationships, and how to reset when you’re convinced everyone thinks you’re weird. I share my very specific hangover recovery routine, why deep cleaning fixes almost everything, my current book recs, and how I’m trying to stop letting one random man’s opinion determine how I feel about myself. if you’re having the sunday scaries, consider this your reminder: no one is mad at you and you’re not a weirdo. <3

This week on Girlhouse, we’re getting into a realization that genuinely changed the way I look at dating: do I actually want this person, or do I just want them to choose me?
After spiraling over a crush this week, I realized how often I go into dating trying to prove that I’m worthy, normal, desirable, or “good enough” instead of stopping to ask whether I even want the person in front of me. We talk about letting go of the cool girl act, dating from a scarcity mindset, making the husband list, and learning to focus less on whether someone likes you and more on whether you actually like them.
Then we get into a bestie Q&A: getting out of a two-year situationship, making friends in your late twenties, jealousy and comparison, first-date outfits, roster dating vs. one-man-at-a-time dating, my psychology master’s update, coming back to YouTube, and more.
Love you besties. See you Sunday for part two. <3

After two weeks away, we have a LOT to catch up on. I’m recapping New York, Denver, the weirdest panic attack of my life, and the realization I’ve been avoiding for years: maybe doing social media full time isn’t enough for me anymore. We’re talking grad school, finding purpose outside of the internet, potentially leaving LA for a sleepy little beach town, and why changing your mind doesn’t mean you failed. Turns out 29 might be my pivot year.

Hi besties, I’m officially 29, which means anything I did at 28 is simply none of my business. This week we’re catching up on everything from wedding season and my weird birthday feelings to a bizarre TSA experience, a pet sitter disaster, and the post-summer-romance embarrassment I would very much like to leave in the past. I’m also entering my end-of-summer lock-in era: getting back into Pilates and the gym, eating better, drinking less, reading more, limiting my screen time, and generally trying to feel like a normal, healthy, calm person again. New year, new age, new me… allegedly.

Besties, the spring-to-summer romance has officially come to an end… despite me being fully convinced I was about to have a boyfriend. This week we’re unpacking what happened, the emotional paragraph I wish I could delete from existence, getting rejected, getting my period and suddenly regaining the will to live, and why I ultimately believe you cannot scare your person away. Plus: a horrifying rebound date, my birthday anxiety, my four-question dating questionnaire, and whether I’m actually going on a date four hours before my flight. We are moving forward and persevering!!!

This week we're asking the important question: what even is a normal girl? 🤍 I chat about feeling like the weird girl lately, body image, binge eating, turning 29, career stress, and trying to get my life together before my birthday. We also get into Hinge, situationships, rejection, femininity, and why being embarrassed might actually be a good thing. If you've been feeling a little weird, behind, or unlike yourself lately... welcome home.

I accidentally extended my Nantucket trip, had a week-long summer fling, and somehow ended up face-to-face with my infamous "no phone call rule" ex in the middle of JFK. We're unpacking vacation romances, awkward reunions, and why guys keep listening to Girl House.

This week we're catching up before my Nantucket trip, I'm finally (hopefully) getting over this mystery LA cold, and I'm telling the full story of the time I convinced myself I gave myself a brain infection with a Neti Pot. We also talk why spending holidays alone isn't nearly as weird as social media makes it feel, the guy I kicked out at 4 a.m., and why I'm officially getting better at standing my ground.

This week we're doing a full summer favorites episode ☀️ From my favorite beauty products, beach essentials, books, bikinis, perfumes, workouts, and shows to why I've been laying low, getting back into healthy routines, and embracing my Roxy Girl Summer. Plus... if you've been feeling weird lately, you're definitely not alone.

Welcome to Girlhouse — a podcast for normal girls trying to figure it all out.
I’m Callie Wilson, and every week we talk about all the things that come with being a girl: dating, rejection,…
Girlhouse is basically one long voice note from your friend who gets it. Sometimes I have advice, sometimes I absolutely do not, but we’re figuring it out together.
If you’ve ever felt weird, behind, too much, not enough, or like everyone else somehow got the handbook except you — you’re in the right place.
We’re all normal girls here. Welcome home. <3
