This week I #girltalk you all through my top nutrition principles that I live by in order to be the healthiest and best version of myself. There is no one size fits all approach to nutrition, but if you learn to listen to your body and follow basic principles as consistently as you can over the course of your lifetime, then being healthy becomes incredibly simple and easy.
•I listen to my body and have a 90:10 approach to my nutrition
•Every meal includes some form of protein, carbs and fats
•Micronutrients are essential
•I choose organic and grassfed where I can
•I choose to be gluten and soy free as much as possible
•I always read the ingredient list and food labels of packaged food so I'm educated about what I'm putting into my body
•I only supplement with what is necessary for my body at that point in time
•I drink a minimum of 2-3L of water a day
•I make sure I am eating enough to support being a woman and to sustain a healthy menstrual cycle
