 A mini meditation to help you recognize and sustain the recognition of the aura of Love that you are... the aura that surrounds that body ... the aura that IS that body... the aura that is appearing as this moment, these words, those hands, that phone.

For example, meditate on being in a sacred place and the feeling or consciousness you have while there. Now be absorbed in and project that atmosphere out around you wherever you are, and to others nearby. As such, you can be your own temple. In this way, when around people of negative energy, you can concentrate on sharing your own positive energy rather than absorbing theirs. In this way, you also create a protective barrier around yourself while maintaining a kind and friendly attitude. The primary objective in such a situation is to give them more of your energy, your understanding, and your essence rather than accepting theirs. You can even imagine light emanating from within you and encompassing them, clearing and cleansing all undesirable energy from the environment."

You know that 'holy' feeling you  become aware of when you're in an old church or temple?  That very sacred, Go(o)d feeling that makes you walk more slowly, and makes you grow quiet inside and outside.  Give yourself permission to feel that now and always! Stay in your Inner Temple, your inner Peace, and you'll experience Peace all around you.

Know Silence as a gift from God.  Unwrap It by being with It-- feeling Its Love for you, feeling your Love for It.  Feeling It as Love.  Allow this Silence to take shape, to be regifted to the world in the form of your service, mission, or purpose.  In the form of your art, your particular brand of this Love.  Love wants to express through and AS you.  Let It.

When you feel resistance (upset of any intensity physical or mental) to a dark moment or dark period in your life-- keep pausing and listening for Silence.  Keep feeling for Love.  Let everything that's not built on Love fall.  You won't.  You and all the forms of Love meant for you, will be left standing tall, unscathed, unburnt... the breaker of chains ;)

Today's Practice:
See this entire moment, including these words, as a reflection of your Self... your consciousness... the invisible, Loving Awareness that you are.  You're looking from It, at your reflection that we call 'the world'.    We don't change the world/reflection by choosing and practicing new thoughts... the thoughts are the reflection!  We do it by recognizing that we are Love.. by choosing, feeling, and BEing Love. Then we see thoughts, feelings, circumstances, and 'others' that mirror that Love back to us more clearly.  We see this body practicing Love, treating 'others' as it would want to be treated, singing, celebrating, feeling Go(o)d.  Today, before going into any room, first remember that everyone you see, everything you see, is only your own energy.  Act accordingly.  Take off your armor.  Smile.  Love.

Here’s a short meditation from Joel Goldsmith's book , 'The Altitude of Prayer'. 

"Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?”  Thought is not power: thought will not make a white hair black; thought will not turn disease into health; thought will not turn health into disease. But the Spirit of God in us reveals divine harmony where sin, disease, death, lack, and limitation appear to the human senses. 

When you can close your eyes and know no fear, and not seek for God to do something, see what happens as you settle down into an inner peace:

'Thank You, Father; I can abide in peace, for there is no other power. There are no powers to fear; there are no powers for You to do something about. You alone are power; You alone are presence. Your kingdom is established in me; Your grace is my sufficiency in all things. No longer do I seek You as a power; no longer do I accept the power of matter or of mind. Now I accept You and You alone in me. I have no problems for You to work on, God. I have no powers for You to overcome or destroy. To find the secret of answered prayer, we begin, as did Jesus, with an absolute conviction that God is, and because we have this conviction, we know that God must be omnipotence, the all-power."

Today’s Practice:

1. Close your eyes on the seeming ‘power’
2. Feel Love and open your eyes  as the only power.  

When you do this, you put the whole world on transparency mode and realize there's nothing here to need, and nothing here to fear.   Only God is here and It's omnipotent-- all power.  Constantly returning to this remembrance is praying without ceasing.  It's felt-faith.  It's answered prayer.

Feel into what the words are pointing toward.  This 'nothing else' includes your problems, your desires, your darkness, your goodness... it includes YOU!  When you're fully aware of the Presence of God, fully remembering God, you forget (your belief in) the world.  You know by feeling, that God, this Love is the only power and you rest and dissolve in That.  When you're 'here' no seeming other power can touch you.

Today's Practice:
In every moment, remember, even if for just a fleeting second, to go directly to the feeling of Love. Change the quality of the moment, your conscious experience of that moment, by feeling Love.  It doesn't' matter what's happening, what you're looking at, who you're with, this Love is fully present and when you touch It, It touches you and changes everything.  Let It work on you.  Let It work through and AS you.  Let It be your world and It'll give you a new one. 

Notice that when you are fully aware of Love, It's often appearing as working out, a walk in nature, quality time with your kiddos, singing along to Go(o)d music, reading a Go(o)d book... and when you become aware of Love in a 'not so good' moment, It then begins appearing as you remembering God, reaching for that feeling, remembering your mantra, hearing your mantra, and the quality of that moment changes.  Destiny changes.  Keep feeling for Love.  Keep being Love.

View your mind like traffic that has nothing to do with you. Traffic that's on the other side of the road.  The kind of traffic that makes you say, 'whooo! Glad I'm not going that way!"  Don't get involved with it.  You're not stuck in it.  You're simply watching it.  

Every time a thought approaches, ask yourself, 'to whom does this thought come?' And pause... listen.  The answer is the silence.  The mind stops and leaves you in the remembrance, in the recognition that you were never out of Love... you weren't living in the outskirts of the Kingdom.  YOU ARE THE KINGDOM.  You're Home, in the City of God. And as long as you're feeling Love inside of you, you'll be consciously aware of Love manifest all around you... as you.
