This meditation will give you a clear technique for grounding yourself in the present moment. Being grounded, really connected with the Earth is so powerful. If we can easily access that connection in our daily lives we can find perspective, calm and the ability to let go of the things that are holding us back from living a fulfilling life. 

We spend so much of our time in our heads, thinking, processing, planning, replaying events and over thinking. Lists, planning, worries, all take us forward in the future. Regret, resentments, guilt, deeply felt emotions keep us in the past, drawing us back into old thought and emotion patterns. In order to free ourselves from these patterns we bring ourselves into the eternal now of the present moment. When we ground ourselves, really plug into the earth, then we are accessing the simplest way to be in the present moment.
