December 31, 2018Weight Loss Goals in 2019! In This Episode: This comes out New Year’s Eve! Welcome to you if you are new to the podcast! For those who are new, John does Keto and Intermittent Fasting, Emily does Intermittent Fasting. We talk about eating in our “window” — This is in regards to Intermittent Fasting and the hours during the day we allow ourselves to eat. We both do about 16-8 or 18-6: 16 hours fasting/8 hours of eating or 18 hours fasting/6 hours eating. We recorded this a few days after Christmas and we got on the scale and dealt with the number like champions (sorta). Warning for those who may not like food-talk: We discuss cookies toward the beginning. The Christmas-New Year’s Slump is a challenge for us! John’s special lady is coming! Yay! Emily would love the energy of New Year’s Day at least once a month. John signs up for a meal planning website with recipes and shopping lists to help him with keto. We walk through The Keto Cycle Diet website quiz. With kids and dieting: The Days are Long; The Years/Weeks are Short. We talk about some of our goals for 2019. John wants to learn some more “Dude Cooking” techniques. Emily talks about the fresh egg test! We talk about our health-related Christmas gifts. Carb Hangovers are real!
