On the lighter side of this RGF-lite, carney tales and how Jinxy the carnival cat (long gone, long loved) became the mascot for madness. How 'Lori', the gentleman carnie, provided humanity during chaos.

School supplies, lunch boxes, fluffernutter sandwiches, bobbing for apples, drunk coaches at Little League games and poor performing thermos were from a time that was both mortifying and magical. How entire podcasts (plural) exist about breakfast cereals proving two things: life here can't be that bad and Kev's Donut Talk podcast may work after all.
