Hey everyone!
Today we're diving into mindset shifts to conquer anxiety. Not just reducing anxiety, but boosting confidence in managing it during tough times. I know you've probably tried every self-help avenue out there - Googled, read books, listened to podcasts, watched videos. But here's the thing: it's not about fixing yourself because you're broken. There are ways to manage and improve your anxiety. Trust me, I've been battling it for years.
Anxiety is personal. How it affects you and how you react to it is unique. That's why I believe in putting in the work to retrain your nervous system. Your reactions are a response to threats - both real and perceived. So, it's time to tackle anxiety head-on. But I get it, it's a long process. That's why I want to share these mindset shifts that have been a game-changer for me.
These mindset shifts are crucial for managing anxiety, even during the most challenging moments. Start implementing them before you're in the midst of anxiety. That way, you can lean on them when you need it most.

Hey podcast lovers!
Why do we form bad habits? The question we know yet don’t understand. We form bad habits for various reasons, and understanding these reasons can help us in breaking free from them. As humans, we fall into instant gratification, stress, anxiety, social influence and lack of awareness. This will drive behavior such as smoking, drinking, sex, shopping, pleasing, staying busy, ect. The habits that we form do serve a purpose of relieving us from pain. They provide temporary satisfaction and we don’t necessarily care that they can have detrimental effects on our overall well-being. During this episode, I break down each step that leads to forming habits and how you can start implementing tools if you want to break free from it.

I explore how to develop a relationship with the unknown, and how to trust that everything will work out in the end (not an easy task). I discuss the power of acceptance and how it can lead to a more fulfilling life giving examples from my own personal life. Finally, I talk about how to develop a practice of letting go and surrendering, so that you can truly enjoy the beauty of life.

Hey everyone!
This week, I felt called to discuss the influence of social media. I can sense that we are going through a universal shift that is causing many of us to rethink how we use social media. It has become a source of disconnecting and reconnecting. We also spend time finding things that can help improve our life and we find content that negatively impacts us. I spend time discussing how this influence can change our choices and decisions that aren’t even ours to begin with. We get wrapped up in all the content we see on instagram, tik tok and pinterest that we don’t see how it is impacting our life. I personally have backed off because it wasn't something that brought value into my life nor did it benefit me. I hope this episode encourages you to brainstorm your priorities and what is most important to you in life.
With love,
Katelyn

This week, we are talking about relationships. I have noticed that more individuals are wanting to deepen their relationship or want more out of their partner. There are many factors that influence the dynamics between you and your partner (s). When we bring our past into the relationship, it takes time to work through old patterns and habits. Here are 5 tips:
Get to know your partner through caring behaviors
Borrow from your partner's qualities to grow the relationship
Hear and validate your partner
Find more hang time
Sliding glass door moments
