Sean Hashmi, MD, MS, FASN is the Regional Director for Clinical Nutrition and Weight management at Southern California, Kaiser Permanente. He is a board-certified Nephrologist and Obesity Medicine Specialist. He currently serves as the Assistant Area Medical Director at Kaiser Permanente, Woodland Hills. In addition, he serves as the current President for the Clinical Management of Obesity Section of The Obesity Society. He is a proud member of the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. He continues his volunteer work through his nonprofit SELFPrinciple.org focused on the latest in evidence-based health, nutrition and wellness education.
