  • One Part Podcast / Episode 7: Finding Balance with Jordan Younger of The Balanced Blonde

The beautiful and brave Jordan Younger is this week’s guest. She’s gotten a lot of attention the last two months – and it all started with one controversial post made on her popular blog. Very excited to have the opportunity to share her story here on OPP.

Jordan speaks openly about the post and the negative backlash that resulted (we’re talking death threats here). She also talks about her struggle to overcome an eating disorder, how’s she’s healing, and the exciting developments she’s got in the works.

  • One Part Podcast / Episode 6: Ego Checking with Adina Grigore of S.W. Basics

In this week's episode, I talk with Adina Grigore, the mastermind behind S.W. Basics. A big-time brand that's changing the game in wellness and skincare across the globe.

Adina candidly shares the slow climb of success for S.W. Basics…from zero customers on Etsy to being sold in over 200 stores. We discuss what she believes is the #1 key to selling more products online, and I even get her to dish a big-time secret that she's revealing for the first time on this episode. And it's a good one.

Fall in love with Adina's honesty and awesomeness. I know I did.

  • One Part Podcast / Episode 5: Working Hard and Being Nice with Joy Claire of Clairvoyant Agency
In this week’s episode, I interview marketing and branding smarty Joy Claire of Clairvoyant Agency and creator of @rapperswithpuppies. It’s true, she’s shockingly pretty. I know. But I’m excited to share just how savvy, kind, and inspiring she is too.
Joy and I discuss the 12-year hustle to get to where she is today, the life-altering event that changed her view on relationships and falling in love, and rappers with puppies. We talk lots about rappers with puppies.
Throw on some headphones and meet Joy.

  • One Part Podcast / Episode 4: Taking Risks with Jourdan Fairchild of Fly DYI
Is it unprofessional for a host to cry when she interviews a guest? Because that’s what happened when I interviewed writer, editor, and master crafter Jourdan Fairchild. I swear Oprah teared up a few times during her years, so I’m giving myself a pass. Jourdan’s story was just so damn moving!
Jourdan and I talk about leaving a big magazine career behind after falling in love, how losing her job at Daily Candy led her to a life-changing trip to Africa, and her new book that was inspired by her experiences there.
Jourdan proves that taking a risk, no matter how scary it is, can not only change your life…but someone else’s too.

  • One Part Podcast / Episode 3: Scott Lawrie of Latch Kitchen
This week, the funny and talented Scott Lawrie is my guest. I met him at a wedding about a year ago, talked all night…and then haven’t talked again until now. Scott taught me an important lesson in this episode: stop being a baby about things I don’t think I like and take the time to explore why other people are passionate about them.
We also chat about why he started his inspiring site, Latch Kitchen, and how he hopes it’ll help others. We dig into his early career in local news and then shift to a little Kanye and Saved By The Bell.
Inspiration. Important Lessons. Passion. Kanye. Saved By The Bell…this episode has it all.

  • One Part Podcast / Episode 2: Claire Ragozzino of Vidya
Wellness wonder woman Claire Ragozzino really knows her stuff when it comes to food and wellness. She’s the creator of Vidya, a certified yoga instructor, and a holistic nutrition educator. See what I mean? She’s wellness x 10. But she hasn’t always been all glowy, healthy, and out picking greens in a field. We talk about her health journey that started at 15 and how that transformation has shaped her philosophy on wellness and what foods are best for our bodies (it might surprise you).
Claire’s path and story left me thinking, “who is this girl?” Turns out that she’s extremely driven, inspiring, and thoughtful…and I can’t wait for you to get to know her. Oh! And she gives a really great tip on a simple way to start meditating. It involves eating, which is my kind of meditation.

  • One Part Podcast / Episode 1: Michael Kiser of Good Beer Hunting
Sooo….it’s the first episode of the One Part Podcast!
I’m so excited about my first guest, Michael Kiser. Michael’s a bad ass. He’s a design and brand strategist, the creator of Good Beer Hunting, and THE dude when it comes to craft beer.
Our conversation spanned from poetry to baseball and of course, beer. But my highlight was going deep on the reason I wanted to interview him in the first place: a touching post he made on Instagram about his son.
    Now…
Beer’s not your thing? No biggie. Take a listen anyway. Michael is truly inspiring. Just hearing the passion in his voice and learning about his approach to making tough decisions might change the way you face your own difficult situations. It did for me.
    One More Thing…
This episode is a little quiet, so listen to it with a pair of headphones. My mic-volume skills have greatly improved since this one. It’s the first episode, go easy on me.
    Here’s Michael.
