This episode is for you if you constantly tell yourself, "I know what to do to lose weight but I'm just not doing it. I guess I just don't want it bad enough." I don't think you have an issue with wanting to lose weight. The issue isn't "how bad do you want it" but rather why do you deserve it? What kind of life are you holding hostage by not losing the weight? It comes down to you not having a why. You keeping yourself running on the yo-yo diet/body hate shame cycle because you don't have a set of compelling reasons. In this episode, I'm defining what a "why" is, why you need it to lose weight for the last time, and how to create your why.
I'm 6 weeks postpartum today. I'm ready to put myself first again and get back on my weight loss journey. In this episode, I'm reading an open letter I wrote to my "fat postpartum" body. Plus, I'm sharing with you why I'm ready and how you need to want weight loss only from a place of unconditional self-love if you expect it to last.

I'm back and finally ready to share my postpartum story with you. As many of you know, I delivered my son on October 26, 2020. While the delivery went great, I experienced 4 different postpartum complications including a life threatening bout with postpartum preeclampsia.
This is my story but I also want it to serve as a PSA about this condition. A condition that I didn't realize could happen AFTER having a baby. I feel compelled to share my story in the hopes that it could potentially save another life. Whether your pregnant or not, I also think it highlights the importance of having a better relationship with yourself and your body - so that you can identify when you're just not feeling like yourself.

I'm back!!! I'm jumping back in the swing of things after having my son almost 3 weeks ago. This was an impromptu episode that I felt compelled to share.
Weight and overeating are not the "real" problems...but they feel like the biggest problems in your life. I challenge you to think differently. They are the symptoms of something bigger. They are the symptoms of you not liking yourself or not having an unconditional loving relationship with yourself. Losing 20 lbs for the sake of just losing 20 lbs isn't going to transform your life.
I don't teach food rules or what to eat. Irresistible You is not a diet or a weight loss program. It's so much more than that. It's about changing your life - without another BS fad diet.

Weight loss is not about reaching a goal weight...that's what you've been conditioned to believe. Thanks, diet culture. The hard truth is that chasing a goal weight and a deadline are exactly what's keeping you stuck on the yo-yo diet/body hate shame cycle. What is weighing a specific number really gonna for you? How is that supposed to magically cure all of your problems? Is a number going to give you automatic happiness?
News Flash: It won't. I know that from experience. Reaching goal weight for the sake of saying you weigh 150 lbs (example) is not going to cure your anxiety, your money problems, your shitty relationship, your lack of confidence, your fat girl mindset, or your anxiety and fear around food.
When you really think about losing your weight, it's not a number your after...

In this episode, you'll meet KerriBeth "KB" Ludeman, who completed Irresistible You over the summer in 2020. KB was one of the most committed students I've ever worked with. She truly showed up to do the work for herself and that commitment paid off. KB joined the program at a time where she was feeling depressed, seeing a therapist, and knew that she needed something more because she was hiding her true personality. I personally saw KB's transformation as she got closer to becoming the woman she was meant to be, outside of just weight loss. We talk a lot about finding your voice and why it's important to put words to your emotions in order to change the relationship with yourself.

In this episode of the Irresistible You podcast, I'm doing an informal chit chat about my pregnancy ups and downs including anxiety, depression, and a gestational diabetes diagnosis. Getting raw and real about what it's like to live in the intersection of bittersweet during this pregnancy, all while during a global pandemic.

Commitment is an investment in your future self. So many of you aren’t willing to commit to yourself because you’re afraid of failing. So, instead what do you do? You are zombie walking through life, existing - not living. Telling yourself that you’ll start over Monday. Monday turns into next month. Next month turns into when life slows down. The cycle just keeps repeating itself.
What if you would have invested in yourself a year ago? Where would you be today? What happens when you decide to not invest in yourself? Are you making deposits or withdrawals for your future? In this episode, I’m breaking down what it means to be committed to investing in your future self so that you can become Irresistible YOU!

Last week's podcast episode was a huge hit and I received so many messages and comments about it. It sparked some great discussions and coaching inside of the Irresistible You client group too. One of my dear and lovely clients said, "I am currently struggling with going down two journeys together (self love and weight loss). I just don't know how to do them together. How do I handle it?"
I thought this was such a great discussion and something we needed to address here too. Here's the rub: they are not separate. Self love doesn't show up because you lose weight - it comes from the culmination of your actions. In this episode, we are going to break down what self-love really looks like and how you go from feeling fat and miserable to a woman that is willing to show up and create an unconditional loving relationship with herself.
