This was such a fun conversation with Mindy Cohn. Please check out her NYC Conversations with Prime Women event by getting tickets conversationswithprimewomen.com Also be sure to check out Palm Royale coming soon to Apple TV+
Mindy Cohn made her acting debut as the witty, precious Eastland Academy student Natalie Green in the hit comedy series “The Facts of Life.” She was discovered while attending Westlake School for Girls in Bel Air, California, when actress Charlotte Rae and producer Norman Lear came to the school to authenticate scripts for their new show. They were so taken with the vivacious eighth grader that they created a role just for her. Ms. Cohn remained on the show for all nine seasons, also traveling to Paris and Australia with her co-stars to produce two successful television movies based on the series. Concurrently, with her role in “Facts,” Ms. Cohn played “Rose Jenko” in Fox’s “21 Jump Street.” Ms. Cohn appeared in her first professional stage performance in “Table Settings,” written and directed by James Lapine and filmed for HBO Television. The illustrious cast included Eileen Heckart, Stockard Channing, Robert Klein, Peter Riegart, and Dinah Manoff. She went on to make her feature film debut in “The Boy Who Could Fly,” which co-starred Colleen Dewhurst, Fred Gwynne and Fred Savage. Ms. Cohn took a brief hiatus from her career to attend university, where she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Cultural Anthropology and a Masters in Education. During this time, she studied improvisation and scene work with Gary Austin and Larry Moss. She continues to study at the BGB Studio with Steve Braun. Ms. Cohn received a Dramalogue Award for her performance in a production of “Catholic School Girls” at the Globe Playhouse in Los Angeles. She returned to television as “Mo Tucker” in the NBC series, “The Second Half,” starring John Mendoza, Wayne Knight and Jessica Lundy. Ms. Cohn starred on the WB sitcom “The Help” alongside Antonio Sabato, Jr. and Tori Spelling. She also starred in the pilot “Virtually Casey” for the Disney Channel and continues her long standing gig with Warner Brothers as the voice of "Velma” for all animated projects in the “Scooby Doo” franchise, for which she was nominated for a Daytime Emmy award. While continuing to have a successful voice over career, she has starred feature films “Under the Gun,” “Alone with a Stranger,” “Swing”, I Heart Huckabees” the independent feature “Third Wish” working alongside Betty White and the Daniel Waters feature “Sex & Death 101” opposite Simon Baker and Winona Ryder. She was the lead in the indie feature “Violet Tendencies” and had a reoccurring role in ABC Family’s “Secret Life of the American Teenager”. Ms. Cohn has also been on stage with show “Celebrity Autobiography, shot the web series “No Hooks Up Please” and had a guest spot on “Bones”. Most recently she is featured in three award-winning short films “Egg Day”, “Consequences” and “Kill Cat Oakland”, and just completed a role in a movie for “Lifetime”. What she is most excitedly anticipating is her co-starring role in the feature “A Nice Girl Like You”, starring Lucy Hale and Jackie Cruz released on all VOD platforms on July 17, 2020 and her ongoing podcast Mondays with Mindy. Next up, look for her on the new Apple TV series “Palm Royale” where she is co-starring with Kristen Wiig, Allison Janney. Laura Dern, Ricky Martin and Carol Burnett. She will also co-star in the Caliwood Pictures feature “Hannah Cooks at Home” and the indie feature “Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, and Frank”.

Founder of IT cosmetics, NY Times bestselling author, Jamie Kern Lima is back with a new fantastic book, "WORTHY, How to Believe You Are Enough and Transform Your Life"
If you struggle with your worth (and really who doesn't these days) Know that you ARE WORTHY!
Jamie Kern Lima is a New York Times bestselling author, a leading voice in personal development and transformation, a guest teacher of “The Life You Want” class live with Oprah, and Founder of IT Cosmetics, a company she started in her living room and grew to the largest luxury makeup brand in the country. She sold the company to L’Oréal in a billion-dollar deal and became the first female CEO of a brand in its 100+ year history. She’s been a Denny’s waitress, a struggling entrepreneur, lived a lifelong journey of rejections, and has battled her way through years of self-doubt, body-doubt, and God-doubt. She was placed into adoption at birth and has been on a journey of learning to believe she’s here with purpose, on purpose, and for a purpose and is worthy, lovable, and enough. She’s a mother of two and an active investor, speaker, and thought leader who is passionate about inspiring and elevating women. She’s donating 100 percent of her author proceeds for WORTHY.
