This week, Keltie Knight joins us to discuss her health journey over the past ten years, which led to her having a hysterectomy. Like many women, Keltie struggled for years with painful periods and was often dismissed by doctors who attributed her pain to womanhood. She was advised to have a better work-life balance and to de-stress. Years later, Keltie learned she was dealing with a rare form of anemia and After a long journey with multiple doctors and failed treatments, Keltie and her doctor decided that a hysterectomy was the solution. Now, in the early stages of recovery, Keltie is open about her choice to remove her uterus to prioritize her health and well-being.
