We’re primarily sniffing perfumes from the House of Mammoth this week, an indie brand from the US of A. We’re also joined by a very special pre-school guest, deliberate whether or not Fliss lives in a haunted house and question just how many stuffed toys it takes to hold a world record.

We discuss what they smell like to us, why they make us wretch, how they smell like airfix models, cheap air hostess uniforms or send us on nostalgic scent daydreams of our times breaking fingers on the lacrosse pitch in secondary school. Dan also gives us all a live behind the scenes look into his perfume brands forthcoming release, Eggy Pear.

This week we are talking about snobbery in perfume in all its forms and asking the question of ourselves, are we all snobs too? Turns out most of us are quite happy to accept we partake in a little snobbery, at least from time to time. Ben turns violent, Dan dismisses the plebs outright, Fliss opines on the anti-panty (dropper) and James explains how he feels he is a better horse rider than you whilst filling us all in on interesting things to do with certain members of your family.

This week, courtesy of Brooke from Sainte Cellier, we are taking a look at the US based perfume house founded by Christophe Laudamiel, Zoo Perfumes. It’s an utterly unique collection of scents, creative, divisive and perfectly insane, which means we just about fail to agree on every single one.
