Let’s Talk About Abortion Care with Dr. Jen Lincoln

Your hosts are joined by the incredible Dr. Jennifer Lincoln; author, podcast host, and Executive Director of Mayday Health, an organization making abortion pills accessible to people in all 50 states. Despite never anticipating the reversal of Roe v. Wade, she highlights that restrictive access to care has been a reality for many people for a long time, and it is a point of privilege to only care now. Dr. Lincoln also discusses how Mayday Health formed and speaks about the value of enacting shield laws. The three talk about the dangers of pregnancy and the value of abortion for medical, life-saving reasons, and touch on Dr. Jen’s podcast, Let’s Talk About Down There, where she works to dispel the shame and stigma that surrounds reproductive health. Lastly, they discuss social platforms suppressing information they consider “controversial”, and present the pro-business argument for abortion, as we live in a country run on money, not ethics.
