Scaling you and your revenue, without scaling the amount of work you do is the power of online courses, and the ultimate dream for most entrepreneurs.
You get to teach what you know and love, make an impact in lots of people’s lives, while earning an income that isn’t 100% reliant on you showing up live and doing the work.
Picture yourself sitting in any location your heart desires, sipping on whatever drink you fancy, while your business makes money for you-pretty cool, right?
Now you might be thinking that everyone and their dog are launching an online course right now, but the good news is that there’s always room for you.
You have something to teach, that others will find valuable, and pay you for. The reason is that the style in which you teach it and the experience bring is unique to YOU. That’s what sets you apart.
There’s frankly no better time to be teaching these skills that people want to learn through your own online course.
Why? According to research from Forbes, the e-learning market is expected to reach a value of 325 billion by 2025.
That’s triple the growth from 2015. Triple!
Why is that? People are learning like never before. Their lives and careers depend on it.
They’re flocking to learning online so they can remain relevant in the future of work. They’re reskilling, upskilling, and growing.
Add to that this pandemic and massive changes and disruptions in our lives, forcing many of us to do everything from home, more people are turning to ALL things online.
This is your time to produce and launch your online course, and today I am going to share with you three reasons to launch your online course.
In this episode, we are talking about:

As an entrepreneur you have a unique story to tell and when you can get that story published and featured in the media, your audience will grow and your sales will accelerate.
What if I told you it was much easier than you think to get published in major media? We’re talking big names like Forbes, Entrepreneur, GQ, and more...
If you’re thinking; “Yes please!” Then this week’s podcast episode is for you.
This week’s guest on the Untapped Podcast is Stephanie Lee; she is a writer, storyteller, and media strategist dedicated to helping you share your stories and ideas with the world.
Stephanie lived the digital nomad life for 3 years, writing her way around the globe. She quickly started getting published in places like Lifehacker, New York Magazine, and GQ. That’s when she discovered the online business world of creators and coaches with big ideas but without the tools to get published.
Now, she helps entrepreneurs make an impact through their own unique stories. Stephanie knows that the world needs to hear your story, and by getting published you can reach the wide corners of the internet. She’s helped her clients get media coverage in 20+ major publications by tapping into their authentic self and sharing them with the world.

Have you ever wanted to change an industry that you love from the inside out?
Do you want to be the change that you want to see in the world? But you're wondering where to start?
And are you thinking about how can you make a name for yourself, doing something that you love, and creating a real positive impact in the world while earning a great income from it?
Then look no further than the shining example of Ren Navarro, who in early 2018 organically created her consulting company Beer Diversity, which strives to educate, enlighten and make beer more approachable for a more diverse audience.
She'd been involved in the beer industry for seven and a half years as a sales representative for renowned and award-winning breweries, and she started having conversations about diversity and inclusion.
Working constantly as the face of breweries within her respective sales regions, Ren began by speaking frequently at workshops, conferences, and giving talks informing and entertaining people through her love of beer.
Strike forward to today and she's become one of Canada's experts when it comes to diversity and inclusion in the alcohol industry.
Ren is on the front-lines to initiate change both in and out of the industry. Additionally, using her perspective as a queer black woman within the industry, she has talked extensively about diversity in craft beer as the sole Canadian panelist at the 2019 Craft Brewers Conference in Denver, CO along with constant appearances in various forms of media, from podcasts, television and radio shows to newspapers.
She's a great example of taking her sweetspot and monetising it in a way that felt aligned, authentic and as a force for good.

Do you believe that you can build your dream team, one that cares as much about your business as you do?
And that maybe just maybe you can hire people who do the things that you think you do best, better than you?
It's been a goal of mine for several years to build my dream team.
You know the type of high-performing, high trust team that will help me on my aim to build a million dollar revenue business by the end of 2023.
Yet the biggest mindset shift for me to do this, has been to get out of the way, and relinquish control, surrender to trusting people I bring into my business and their skills.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the only entrepreneur who struggles with letting go, and handing your baby over!
The other thing you need to know, before you start hiring team members, is your best return on investment and your superpowers.
Ask yourself:
I've been hiring people since 2012 and I can tell you, it's been a journey. I've had over 40 contractors and freelancers in that time, perhaps more.
Sometimes I've hired the best people, and sometimes I've made big mistakes - hiring too fast, and failing to fire fast too.
But I'm always learning the lesson, improving my processes, on-boarding, systems and communications. And this year, I'm really being more intentional with how I go about building my dream team.
So I'm sharing it ALL on this podcast episode, and letting you in on my thoughts for how you can go about building your dream team, without the drama and headaches, and instead, from a place of certainty and flow.

Imposter syndrome is real. It's alive and kicking and left unchecked, it can be seriously debilitating to your hopes and dreams. So what is it and how do you overcome imposter syndrome and kick it to the curb?
You might have experienced imposter syndrome yourself. Do any of these scenarios sound familiar?
One minute you're totally in flow, on top of the world and so proud of that epic blog post you just wrote, and the next minute you're like 'what if they find out I'm a fraud and I don't actually know what I'm talking about?'
You've been invited to speak at a big event on the topic you're passionate about, you're all set to take the stage and suddenly you think you to yourself: 'Oh my god, I can't do this, who am I think I can pull this off. I don't even know what I'm talking about?!'
Or even better, you're deep into writing your first book, the one the publisher you landed can't wait to publish. Then suddenly you get paralysed by what other people might think of you. You're worried they'll find out that you're not even really a writer, which makes you a fraud right?
And just like that, your self-confidence goes down the drain, and you stop what you're doing and quit.
Lady, you are not alone.
I've had more bouts of imposter syndrome in the last 3 months than in the last three years. And do you know why?
If you don't overcome imposter syndrome, it continues to rear it's ugly head most often, when you're on the edge of growth. When you're stepping into unchartered territory and into your biggest, boldest and most beautiful version of yourself and your work!
I've come to see imposter syndrome as a clear sign that I'm doing the right things, that I'm doing the work that will make a real impact, and that I'm more than ready for the next stage, even if I don't feel like it.
You are not alone, and it's entirely natural to get a case of the imposter syndrome, which isn't a medial issue by the way, it can just feel like you need some serious treatment.
That's why I brought in the wonderful Tara Wagner, to talk about what these feelings you're having really are, and how you can overcome imposter syndrome and realize your full potential.
Tara Wagner is a Belief Breakthrough Coach and for the last 10 years, she's been passionate about helping entrepreneurs understand and deal with the imposter syndrome so that they can get their heads, hearts, and habits straight so they can reach their goals and become their best version of themselves.
In this episode, Tara and I are both here to help you stop these limiting thoughts, beliefs and feelings from holding you back, so that you can instead feel confident and driven to achieve your dreams.
If you’re ready, let’s dive in!

If you've ever tried it, crafting the perfect media pitch to get your business real exposure can be both exhausting and overwhelming, right?
You might find yourself spending countless hours curating perfect emails, or researching the right contacts, only to never hear back from them.
In the early years of building my business, I hustled a lot to get my emails in front of the right people and land media interviews or writeups with some big names.
Although it worked in the long run, I knew there must be a better way, or perhaps a better strategy to a perfect media pitch that landed me the right gigs.
And often landing your email in the right inbox, is simply not enough. If the pitch doesn't resonate, you're unlikely to hear back.
Enter Christina Nicholson, this week’s podcast guest, to the rescue! She's the powerhouse behind Media Maven, and went from award-winning journalist, to professional PR freelancer and now owner of her multi-million dollar PR agency.
Christina has successfully pitched her clients to some top players in the media industry including Forbes, Fast Company, the Huffington Post and Time.
If you're ready for some big-time exposure for your business, and to turn your publicity into profit, then this is the episode for you!

These last couple of weeks have left me reeling if I'm totally honest.
I feel like I just woke up after a lifelong slumber afforded to me thanks to my white privilege, and that my ignorance around #blacklivesmatter and anti-racism is unforgivable.
I feel things deeply and I am especially saddened that my actions, or lack of, deeply hurt and offend people, which they did by me not using my platform appropriately at all, in the last few weeks, but realistically the entire time I've had one.
So I'm doing what I know I can do well right now, being a student of life, being open to learning and educating myself on how having white privilege, white exceptionalism, white apathy, white fragility to name a few, has benefited me greatly in my life.
This work is beyond necessary, especially as an entrepreneur, a coach and one with a platform and a voice to be able to create real change in this world. And to be able to dismantle the systemic racism that has existed for centuries for Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour (BIPOC).
If you're a white person who, like me, has been feeling uncomfortable, scared, apathetic, confused, hurt, in shock, surprised, pissed off, guilty, ashamed - basically all the feels, I get it.
I urge you to read Me and White Supremacy book by Layla Saad and do the journaling prompts - this is helping me to truly understand and learn and deal with all of those feelings.
This will open your eyes and help you realise that this is part of unpacking your white privilege. In the meantime, you can listen in as I share some emerging learnings, thoughts and awakenings I'm having on my commitment to equity, diversity and anti-racism.
I am sitting in so much hope of the change that we can see in this world, and the conversations and education that are happening all over the world, so that we can move forward together now, and create the equitable future and change we want to see in the world.
