Welcome to This Glorious Mess Little Kids. A twice-weekly look at parenting as it really is - confusing, exhausting, inspiring, funny, and full of surprises. So many surprises!
When you were little, how much did you learn about our land and our ancient past? And if you did learn about it, do you think it was valuable?
A new campaign, Know Your Country, is seeking to create valuable experiences for our little ones. They're hoping through employing a local cultural educator at every primary school across the nation that our kids will gain a more valuable understanding of first nations people and culture.
So what would the program look like? And what can we do outside of the classroom?
Tegan and Leigh are joined by Cultural Educator Aunty Phyllis Marsh and Wiradjuri man, Dr Scott Winch Senior Policy advisor at World Vision Australia.
