“The value of things is not the time they last but the intensity with which they occur.”
Welcome back to Space to Learn! Lucy's here to offer her thoughts and advice on how to move on from something that's not making you happy, whether it be a relationship, something you regret or something you feel guilty for. In order to grow into the person we want to be, sometimes the only thing to do is to let go of something that's holding us back. Letting go can be tough but with time, moving on from a not-so-great part of your life can be so positive! Hopefully the journal prompts discussed in the episode can help you on your way to becoming your best, most authentic and happy self, because who doesn't love that. Sending lots of love if you've tapped on this episode because something's not right at the moment, you can get through anything with enough time and kindness.
1. Write down areas of your life that you're not happy with, that make you feel insecure or sad about. Things you miss, mistakes you made that you haven't forgiven yourself for or something you said that you regret.
2. Write down the things you love the most. What makes you feel fulfilled? How you can try to generate more of these things? What are you grateful for?
3. Write down all the things you would love to experience. What new opportunities would make you most excited? How can you turn these things into plans for the future?
