From napping under his desk between patients to helping thousands of people navigate Lyme disease, chronic fatigue and other complex chronic illnesses. Evan Hirsch's story is one of hope, perseverance, and discovering the roadblocks to healing.
If you've been wondering why your why you're still not getting better despite trying treatment after treatment, this conversation is for you.
Evan, creator of EnergyMD Method, shares his personal journey with Chronic Fatigue and Lyme disease. He explains how that journey led him to develop his four-step process to the Toxic 5.
We dive into the hidden layers that can keep people from healing, including toxins, mindset, the nervous system and other often-overlooked stressors.
His approach doesn't rely on lab testing alone. He believes labs don't always reveal what's happening inside the body. Instead, he focuses on supporting the hidden stressors that can keep people from healing.
I especially appreciated our conversation about mindset and the nervous system. One of the takeaways that really stood out to me was Evan sharing that he has seen many people heal simply by supporting their nervous system. That statement really highlights the important role the nervous system can play in the healing process.
Whatever complex chronic illness you're navigating, this episode offers hope, practical insight, and a fresh perspective on what it really means to support healing.

After 13 years of battling Lyme disease, multiple relapses, Bartonella, pancreatitis and overwhelming despair, Lana finally found the missing pieces that helped her regain her health.
After being diagnosed with Lyme disease in 2010, Lana experienced years of ongoing symptoms, periods of remission, financial hardship, and moments when she questioned whether she could continue fighting. She openly shares the emotional toll of chronic illness, the isolation, and the despair that so many in the Lyme community know all too well.
Throughout her journey, Lana explored numerous therapies including antibiotics, methylene blue, IV glutathione, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, PEMF, infrared sauna therapy, ionic foot baths, red light therapy, and more. While each played a role in her healing journey, she shares how Supportive Oligonucleotide Therapy (SOT) ultimately became the final piece that helped her regain her health.
A major turning point came when Lana sought care through New Hope Healing & Resource Center in Minnesota. She shares how Tim Montag and Aimee Goodwin provided not only treatment options and clinical guidance, but also hope, compassion, and unwavering support during some of her most difficult days. Their willingness to continue searching for answers helped uncover important pieces of her case and gave her the courage to keep moving forward.
Today, Lana is living proof that healing is possible, even when the road feels impossible.
This conversation is a powerful reminder of the importance of finding the right practitioners, never giving up on yourself, and holding onto hope when everything feels lost.
