My Mom's home was one of the 1,000 homes that are now ash from the Marshall Fire in Louisville and Superior Colorado on December 30th, 2021.  Her 50 years of Buddhist practice are the foundation she is now using to build a new life for herself.  I am grateful that she was open to sitting down with me to share this experience with the RYS community.  Her wisdom, strength, and allowance of the grieving process are inspirational for anyone who is walking a difficult path.  She has taught me, and is now showing me- that regardless of the circumstances in our lives, we have a choice in how we move forward.
