Taylor Swift is hanging out with her wedding guest Tom Cruise at a football game and we want to know who's got more to gain from those optics.
You've heard about the Hyrox athlete who, um, soiled herself mid comp but went on to win. There are lots of memes. But we’re asking a different question: would you do the same for the prize money of $21k?
Today's a big day for Mia, as you'll hear as she struggles to get through our conversation about kids. And why did the advice to 'act like a drunk person falling downstairs' change Jessie's parenting?
Plus Karl Stefanovic’s podcast is M.I.A and he and his business partner are in court. Mia has some thoughts about why running a media business is harder than it looks.

Plus Karl Stefanovic's podcast has gone dark for three weeks. We chat about the court battle with his business partner and the very rich name he's floated as a possible saviour.

We're being told AI could end humanity, which is a lot for a Monday. But don’t worry, Sydney Sweeney is here to tell us how much she loves sports!
There’s a skit going viral about Harry and Meghan that has people divided on whether it’s a little bit funny or a little bit mean.
An AI researcher quit his job last week and told us that the people building this stuff genuinely believe it could kill us all within the decade. Amelia explains what the whistleblowers are calling for and why "just regulate it" might not be the easy fix everyone assumes.
Plus Holly's making the case for 'hopepunk' - why choosing hope right now might be the most rebellious thing you can do. Borrowing from Caitlin Moran and Nick Cave, we explore how you can actually change anything in a world this broken, and why giving up isn't an option.
Also, Sydney Sweeney's new ad for a sports betting app has her straddling a basketball hoop naked, and it has united female athletes around the world. They’re furious. We unpack why women in sport feel it’s pushed us backwards and whether the ad is doing exactly what it was designed to do.

Are Aussies anti bush? Not the former president, the bikini kind. A viral essay asked why nobody blinked when a writer wore hers to the beach, and Em wants to know whether Australia is culturally anti-bush while America is having a big bush renaissance (a bush-enaissance if you allow).
Would you post about it if your partner killed the family pet? A well-known content creator told her 1.8 million followers that her husband had killed the injured bird they were nursing back to health, and the internet unanimously said the same thing: leave him. But is it actually that simple, or is there a difference between the line you'd draw with your partner and the line you'd draw with a friend?
Plus, one of the biggest names on the internet has just quietly ended a show she's been running for 12 years, and Em thinks she's stopped too soon.
And therapy is over-rated! Why none of us are having it at the moment and what we’re doing instead.

The algorithm has been serving you the word 'algorithm' all week and we explain why. Is your feed about to change forever?
Why aren't women allowed to break script and say they feel relief when their kids leave home? One very famous Gen X icon did and Mia and Holly have thoughts.
Why would a woman about to go to jail invite a controversial documentary maker into her home for a month? Jessie unpacks the Elizabeth Holmes news.
And can two people who hated each other for fifteen years really just... go back to normal? Apparently a quarter of all siblings are estranged at some point and Liam and Noel Gallagher might just have a message for Princes William and Harry.

Plus, Alix Earle's new Netflix show is finally addressing the very public feud with another famous Alex, Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper. It turns out there's something more serious behind this 'celebrity' drama.

Among the tributes to a legend, one Gloria Steinem quote is landing hard for a generation of millennial women. So, Holly wants to discuss, are we still “living the unlived lives of our mothers?” or do we now almost envy the lives they got to lead?
Plus, Jessie wants to tell us about a $800 toothbrush with its own onboard camera and an AI opinion about your gums, and she is worryingly into it.
And, Amelia has watched Netflix's new Raygun documentary and wants to know if you can actually have TOO much self belief?
Plus: The Australian sporting moment you can’t watch without crying. And, the much-discussed US murder trial of LIndsay Clancy has been declared a mistrial. What happens now?

Jessie Stephens, co-host of Mamamia Out Loud and bestselling author, sits down with Kate Langbroek for a completely candid conversation about the last six months of her life. Ten weeks early, on the day she finished up for maternity leave, Jessie gave birth to twins Margot and Harry, while at home raising her toddler daughter, Luna.
Jessie opens up about something she's never spoken about publicly before, a moment in NICU when she found herself in what she describes as "a really dark place." She also talks about growing up an identical twin, falling for her now husband Luca while they worked together, and building a marriage and family and a career when it's all intertwined.
Jessie will be back on Mamamia Out Loud in September.
