My parents taught me about money but there were some foundations I was too naïve or immature to grasp. Many of us have not received a strong financial education, even though we use money all the time! And this can leave you feeling stressed and strapped.Today’s Man Alive Podcast guest talks about how it’s never too late to get your finances in order and become more financially empowered, even if it seems overwhelming! He also talks about his experience of creating a powerful LEGACY that contributes to kids and community, and how you can too.Bill Thomason III was drawn to explore the stock market as a young kid. He has a 25 year career as a funds manager and venture capital /angel investor. He is the author of Make Money Work for You and the creator of Wall Street Wizards — a financial literacy and education program for youth and young adults, as well as their parents!

    In this conversation we discussed:

    * Financial literacy most of us were never taught in school * The rule Bill learned at 18 and follows to this day, that he believes will benefit EVERY man* How to start with your meaningful vision and then create, innovate and evolve it* The need for men to contribute to children’s lives and how you can get started  * Bill’s experience creating the Wall Street Wizards — educating and empowering youth and adults

Be sure to listen until the end when Bill talks about how one can become a millionaire by 50 when saving from a young age. If you haven’t started saving he talks about how you can get your finances in order and help your kids, or kids you care about, have enough money for their future!

How do you relate to your fear? That might seem like an odd question but the clearer you are about what fear is and what you DO when you are afraid, the less likely fear will block you from having what you want!Think about when something is important to you, in your relationship or with someone you’re dating. When you feel afraid of saying so, do you…Ignore your desire?Settle or try to convince yourself you don’t need it anyway?Talk about it intellectually but hold back your heart?Get it somewhere else where it’s less vulnerable?Or do you have another strategy to navigate your fear? Most people don’t move straight into their fear with ease and relaxation ;).More likely you feel tense and in some way resist your fear. You might even make yourself wrong or beat yourself up for feeling fear!Today’s podcast guest, men’s coach Brian Begin, helps men overcome fear — becoming less paralyzed by it so you feel more confident, empowered, clear and alive!  We talked about…

    * How to shift from fear to excitement in any moment* What creates unbelievable pleasure and connection, in and out of bedroom* The unconscious aspects that can keep you from having your dream relationship or career* Using tension and fear as the gateway to FLOW states * Brian’s journey with his mind, body, heart and soul, that has allowed him to show up FEARLESS
