“无语”是现在中文中一个极其常用的词汇，
可以应用于很多的场景，
而说到“无语”一词的英文，
不少人首先想到“have nothing to say” 或者 “speechless”。
不过如果真是只有那么简单的话，词人柳永曾在《雨霖铃》中写道：“执手相看泪眼，竟无语凝噎。”若翻译成英文，此情此景岂一句“have nothing to say” 或 “speechless”能道尽。
除了“Have nothing to say”我们还会用哪些词语表达“无语”呢？

●01. Speechless
因为厌恶或者吃惊而无语~
例句：Later today, I can only smile to myself speechless.
后来的现在，我只能对自己无语一笑。

●02. Bite back (something) /Bite (something) back
想说又不能说，话到了嘴边只能咽回去。
英文里bite有“咬”的意思，bite back“咬回去”，这个短语形容“欲言又止”是否很生动呢？
例句：When I retire, it will be a very sad moment, but I will do it along with my son, so I'll have to be strong and bite back tears.
我退役时会很伤感，但我会和我的儿子在一起，那样我就会尽力显得坚强一些，忍住眼泪。

●03. Have nothing /don't have much to say for oneself

●04. Keep (yourself) to yourself

沉默寡言，对别人的事情从来不感兴趣。

例句：Nobody knows much about him; he keeps himself very much to himself.

●05. Not be on speaking terms/(with somebody)
这个短语的意思是“因为还在生某人的气，不愿意跟他讲话”。
它的肯定形式则表示发生争论后愿意友好地和某人讲话。
例句：She's not been on speaking terms ,with her uncle for years.
她已经好几年没再跟她叔叔说过话了。

●06. Lost for words
有种没话说是因为不知所措。当你感到非常惊讶或困惑时，有时真的不知道该说什么好。
这个短语说的就是这种情况。
例句：I was so surprised to see her that I was lost for words.

01"麻烦您了"英文怎么说？
为了更礼貌地寻求帮助英语和中文一样，会用到“麻烦”这个词：
①trouble sb 麻烦某人
常用句型：
I'm sorry to trouble you. 不好意思，麻烦您了。Could / May I trouble you... ？能麻烦您...？
It's no trouble at all. 一点也不麻烦。
例：May I trouble you to open the window?
能麻烦您开一下窗户吗？
I'm sorry to trouble you, but could you tell me the way to the bus station, please?

②bother 比较英式的表达

02"get sb into trouble"是什么意思？
“怀孕”有惊喜有意外
有些人可能并没有做好准备
特别是未婚的女性在不希望的情形下怀孕时可以说：She is in trouble. 她怀孕了。
暗示是一种不愉快的“意外怀孕”
而get sb into trouble = 使（某人）未婚先孕
例：When he got his girlfriend into trouble, her parents wanted them to marry.
他使女友未婚先孕，女友的父母想让他们赶快结婚。

03"asking for trouble"是什么意思？
be asking for trouble = 自找麻烦，自讨苦吃
也可以说成be looking for trouble

可以说：I'm afraid you have the wrong number.

03“挂电话”英文怎么说？
如果是挂掉正在聊的电话用：hang up（挂掉电话）

double bed room≠双床房
很多人看到double就会理解为“一对；一双”的意思，所以看到 double bed room，就会立马翻译为“双床房”。

但其实这里的 double 是“两倍的；双人的”的意思，所以 double bed room 指的是“大床房”。
这个知识点很重要哦，假如下次你和同事出差，房间订成了 double bed room，那得多尴尬呀。

而“双床房”的正确表达是：twin room= room with two beds。
twin有“孪生的；成双的”含义，所以twin room就是指房间内有两张一样大小的床。

“预订房间”你能说出几个表达呢？

① book大家最熟悉的 book 是作名词，表示书本、书籍。另外，book 还可以用作动词，表示“预定、预约”。
fully booked 或者 booked up 就是指酒店、餐厅或者航班所有的预订名额已经被预订完，没有剩余的房间或者位置了。booked up 也可以形容一个人很忙，日程都排满了。
例句：I would like to book a standard room.
我想预订一个标准间。
The room have been all booked up.
所有房间都已经订满了。
② make a reservation for这里reservation 是动词 reserve 的名词形式，表示预定、预约。如果需要取消预定的话，可以用 cancel a reservation 表示。
例句：
He went to the desk to inquire and make a reservation.
他到前台去咨询并做了预订。
I would like to make a reservation for a double room.
我想预定一个双人间。

“续住”的英语是什么？
“续住”其实就是延长在酒店的时间，所以用到 extend 这个词。它的英语释义为 to make sth last longer 延长；使延期。
所以续住酒店我们可以说 extend the hotel stay。

同样，extend 也适用于表示“延长签证”：extend one's visa。
例句：Excuse me, I want to extend my hotel stay.
您好，我想要办理续住。
I would like to extend my visa for another two years.

agree已经是动词了
所以就不用be动词are
只能加助动词do来帮助构成疑问句
正确的表达是：�Do you agree ?
例：I think we should stop, do you agree?

I must know your opinion.
Do you agree with them?
我必须知道你的意见。你同意他们的意见吗？
如果同意，回答：Yes,I agree.是比较常用的
Yes,I do.在语法上也是正确的，但比较少使用
如果不同意，则说：No, I really can't agree.

①agree with sb与（某人）观点一致；（情况、环境等）适合…（某人）
例：

sold是sell的过去式及过去分词
sell除了“卖，出售”还有“说服；使接受”的意思
You sold me = 你说服了我。
反之，I'm not sold可以表达 “我没有被说服，我不相信”
例： The filmmakers sold me on the idea that my book would work on the screen.
这位电影人士说服了我，让我相信我的小说可以搬上银幕。

02“sell (sb) out”是什么意思？
sell (sb) out意思是：背叛；出卖
相当于betray
所以如果要表达“你出卖了我”可以说：You sold me out.
例：You sold me out. We're through.
你出卖了我。我们结束了。
sell out则是表达：卖光；售罄
例：
We couldn't get seats, the concert was sold out.

03“sell yourself short”是什么意思？
sell yourself short = 看轻自己；低估自己
在这个短语中
yourself可以用himself、herself等来替换
