MEN NEED TO DOMINATE THEIR MOTHERS

This isn’t some kinky proposition.  It is an essential part of the individuation process for Men.  One of the hallmarks of a young boy transitioning into manhood is the shift in his relationship and his energies with his mother.

I’m going to be very specific about what I mean by ‘dominate your mother’.  There are 6 metrics listed below.  As a man, evaluate yourself on each metric and see where you are.  My challenge to you is this — wherever in this list you have not stepped into you more mature and individuated state, your journey as a man is a bit stalled, and you are very likely paying a price for this lack of maturation in your romantic relationships with women.

HOW TO DOMINATE YOUR MOTHER:

1.  Give her Containment, instead of asking her for Containment.
2.  Provide for her with your resources instead of having her continue to take care of you at   the material level.
3. Command respect from your mother, and tolerate no disrespect from her.
4. Stop seeking your mother’s approval.
5. Have strong boundaries with your mother, and maintain those boundaries without buckling under any female or maternal manipulation.
6. Be prepared to walk away from your mother if being connected to her is detrimental to your life.
