500 years ago humans had excess space for 32 teeth but are now lucky to have space to fit 28, with wisdom teeth extraction becoming a right of passage, and premolar extractions all too common. The idea that this is genetic is on par with flat earthers. In the blink of an evolutionary eye, something very significant has occurred under our noses which we really don’t want to face up to.
