Minding our Minds - essential advice for every mum – The Wellness Psychologist, Dr. Clodagh Campbell

Listen Later

In our second episode of season 2 sponsored by WaterWipes we have an incredible conversation with Dr. Clodagh Campbell, The Wellness Psychologist all about our minding our minds as mums.

Dr. Clodagh is a mum of 1 and expecting her second child later this year and in this episode talks to us from her perspective as a mum who has struggled with hyperemesis, mum guilt, anxiety and self doubt but also as a psychologist with powerful advice for every mum’s mind.

As a pregnant woman during Covid we talked about how her anxiety can rise, especially as scans and big appointments draw closer, how her intense hyperemesis took her mind to dark places but 2nd time around she has built a stronger support system to help her and how motherhood can be a trigger for a lifetime of mental health challenges to resurface and why psychology, counselling or simply talking can benefit each and every one of us.

We are incredibly grateful to be able to share this episode with you and believe that these conversations are vital for us now more than ever.

Our minds are no doubt challenged by everything that’s going on in motherhood, and heightened even more in 2020, but this episode can hopefully begin a journey towards better wellbeing for you and for every mum.
