Tocvan Ventures new CEO Christopher Gordon joins Mining Stock Daily to discuss a busy stretch at the Gran Pilar gold-silver project in Sonora, Mexico. Gordon reviews the company’s 215-metre intercept grading 0.6 grams per tonne gold at El Mezquite, ongoing step-out drilling, and Tocvan’s move to secure 100% ownership of the project’s main zone. He also outlines the timeline toward a maiden resource, pilot mine startup later this year, a PEA targeted for 2027, and plans for a larger 2027 drill campaign aimed at expanding resources across Gran Pilar.

Tarek Saab, CEO of Texas Precious Metals, joins Trevor Hall on Mining Stock Daily for a wide-ranging conversation about entrepreneurship, precious metals, hard assets and the accelerating migration of financial capital to Texas.
Tarek shares his unconventional path from growing up in an immigrant family in Massachusetts to becoming an electrical engineer at Texas Instruments, appearing on The Apprentice, losing nearly everything during the Global Financial Crisis, and ultimately building one of the largest precious metals businesses in the United States. He explains how those experiences shaped his views on money, risk and entrepreneurship—and why learning about the long-term depreciation of the dollar ultimately led him toward gold.
The conversation then turns to what differentiates Texas Precious Metals in a business where the underlying product is a commodity. Tarek explains why the company views trust, speed, inventory and customer experience as its real products, along with the logistical challenges of delivering and storing increasingly valuable physical gold and silver.
Tarek and Trevor also discuss Y’all Street, Texas Precious Metals' gold and silver ETFs, the development of precious-metals infrastructure inside the United States, and why Tarek believes Texas is positioned to capture a growing share of global financial activity. With financial firms, exchanges, technology companies and capital increasingly moving into the state, could the center of American finance eventually shift away from New York and toward Texas?

Kingsmen Resources announced in August that it drilled 1.40 metres of 433 g/t AgEq (239 g/t Ag) at its Las Coloradas project, expanding a high-grade silver zone open at depth and along strike. President and CEO Scott Emerson spoke to Mining Stock Daily about the company's $15 million cash position, its 34 million shares outstanding, and plans to bring a second drill rig online within the next two to two and a half months. Emerson also outlined upcoming catalysts including continued assay results every three to four weeks and the start of drilling at the company's second flagship project, Amoloya, expected in November or December.
Surge Copper has spent the past several months building out its executive bench to advance the Berg copper project in British Columbia. A pre-feasibility study released this summer put Berg's base-case after-tax NPV8% at C$4.6 billion, with a 24% IRR and a 2.9-year payback. If built, the project would rank among Canada's top three copper mines and become the country's largest molybdenum producer. As governments roll out their own critical minerals strategies, companies looking to build large copper mines are increasingly aligning themselves with those national priorities. Jennifer Anthony joined Surge Copper as VP, Environment and Regulatory Affairs early this year, after more than 20 years in British Columbia's public sector — most recently as Assistant Deputy Minister, Permitting Transformation, where she led the province's negotiations on the Blackwater mine and other resource projects.
Yukon Metals CEO Jim Coates joins Mining Stock Daily to discuss new drone magnetic results from the AZ Project, where two structural trends converge east of recent drilling and help define a tighter porphyry target for potential fall drilling. Coates also reviews pending assays and geophysical work at Birch, where the company completed roughly three thousand metres of drilling this summer. The conversation also covers Yukon’s booming exploration activity, early-stage work at the Tummel tungsten trend and Carter Gulch, and Yukon Metals’ broader search for large copper-gold porphyry systems.
We have big news on the base metals M&A front this morning with Boliden. New drill results reported from Mithril Silver and Gold, Nine Mile Metals, and Copper Giant. Heliostar begins mining at La Colorada's Veta Madre. American Eagle closes its land package acquisition. Kenorland and Targa begin drilling at Opinaca.

Silver Bow Mining signed a definitive agreement to acquire the Jefferson County Metallurgical Complex in Montana through a Chapter 11 bankruptcy process, committing roughly $28.6 million in cash at initial closing plus contingent value rights, royalties, and profit interests tied to future milestones. Mining Stock Daily spoke to president Doug Stiles and CFO Wade Black about the transaction. The complex includes two processing circuits, the Montana Tunnels M-Pit, and related infrastructure that the company believes could eventually help process ore from its nearby Rainbow Block deposit, pending a feasibility study, shareholder approval, and Bankruptcy Court sign-off.
Andina Copper CEO Joe van den Elsen joins Mining Stock Daily to discuss the rapidly developing Cobrasco copper porphyry project in Colombia. With 11 reported drill holes outlining mineralization across roughly 1.2 kilometers of strike and only about 40% of the anomaly tested, Joe discusses Cobrasco’s potential scale, the emerging near-surface high-grade story, and the strategy behind adding a second drill rig. The conversation also covers what remains unknown about the system, why Andina isn’t rushing toward a maiden resource, the ingredients that could make Cobrasco a world-class copper project, and how Colombia’s new political administration could change the permitting and investment environment.
American Eagle Gold CEO Anthony Moreau joins Mining Stock Daily for an update on the company’s largest-ever exploration program at the NAK copper-gold project in British Columbia. Moreau discusses the early results from the 55,000-metre campaign, including the implications of Hole 89 and why it has changed the company’s drilling strategy along the porphyry stock. The conversation also covers expansion of the high-grade South Zone, drilling designed to support a maiden mineral resource and future PEA, the importance of lower-grade material to potential pit economics, and American Eagle’s aggressive approach to testing new targets. Moreau also discusses the company’s expanded Babine district land position and where he sees the potential for another major discovery.
