Aldebaran Resources CEO John Black joins Mining Stock Daily to discuss the latest results from the Altar copper-gold project in Argentina, highlighted by 1,700 metres of continuous mineralization grading 0.45% copper equivalent. Black explains how the infill program is improving confidence in the massive porphyry system ahead of an updated mineral resource estimate, while deeper mineralization at the Radio Porphyry target could now be incorporated into potential underground mining scenarios. The conversation also covers the upcoming PFS, the next field season and growing interest from major mining companies and new institutional capital as the copper market strengthens.
Talisker Resources CEO Terry Harbort discusses the company’s new preliminary economic assessment for the Bralorne Gold Project in British Columbia. The study outlines a 14-year operation producing about 110,000 ounces of gold annually, with an after-tax NPV exceeding C$1 billion at US$3,500 gold. Talisker is producing direct-shipping ore at Mustang while developing Bralorne West and advancing Olympus, which hosts most of the project’s resource. The company expects a 750-tonne-per-day permit in early 2027 and plans to use ore sorting to reduce waste, lower transport costs, and increase effective mining capacity.
Tony Greer joins Mining Stock Daily for a market update focused on the pressure building in bonds, energy and inflation. Tony explains why rising diesel prices and stubbornly strong refining margins could push long-term Treasury yields even higher, what he makes of retail investors moving into bonds, and why the AI trade continues to shrug off rising rates. The conversation also turns to gold and gold miners, where Tony believes the metal is holding up surprisingly well despite higher yields—and could be waiting for policymakers to finally draw a line in the sand on rates.
We have the latest drill results from Aldebaran Resources, Thunder Gold, Argenta Silver and Onyx Gold. Heliostar Metals to graduate to the TSX.

Former Adriatic Metals CEO Paul Cronin returns to Mining Stock Daily for a wide-ranging conversation about one of the mining sector’s more remarkable development stories: taking an overlooked historical project in Bosnia and Herzegovina from old Yugoslav-era exploration data through discovery, financing, construction and ultimately production.Paul takes us back to the earliest days of Adriatic and the Vareš project, including how the Bosnian assets initially fell out of another proposed IPO, the shoestring exploration campaign that followed, and the discovery at Rupice that changed everything. He recalls drilling one spectacular hole, following it with a complete miss while the company was nearly out of money, and making the decision to keep drilling—a decision that ultimately helped uncover a major polymetallic deposit. But discovering Vareš was only the beginning. Paul discusses the realities of building a mine through COVID, European inflation, supply-chain disruptions and Bosnia’s complicated political environment. He reflects on community relations, permitting, procurement, hiring challenges and the mistakes and lessons that came with moving a complex polymetallic deposit into production. Now CIO of the Admiralty Resources Fund, Paul explains how those experiences have changed the way he evaluates mining companies as an investor. He discusses why management teams often rush projects toward production, why metallurgy and water deserve far more attention, and why investors should give good management teams enough time to properly de-risk an asset.

Valkea Resources CEO Thomas Credland calls the 1,275 metre, five-hole Kari program a proof of concept, with assays expected in the fourth quarter and diamond drilling of the highest priority Paana targets planned from late 2026. Metallurgical testing on a bulk sample from Aarnivalkea West will assess its economic potential, and Credland says it should show whether the gold is refractory like Agnico Eagle's Kittilä mine or more straightforward like Ikkari. With about 85 million shares out and more than $10 million in cash at the end of June, Credland says Valkea is funded for up to 10,000 metres across five to ten targets this winter.
Yukon Metals CEO Jim Coates joins Ian Wagner to discuss the company’s first drill results from the 2026 program at its Birch copper-gold project in Yukon. A 200-metre step-out extended copper-gold skarn mineralization to one kilometre of strike, while IP, soil, magnetic and surface geochemical data point toward a potential intrusive source nearby. Coates also outlines pending assays from five additional Birch holes and deep drilling at the AZ target. The conversation also covers interest in tungsten, a critical mineral, and Yukon Metals’ expanding portfolio of historic tungsten projects.
Gold Hart Copper CEO Isaac Maresky joins Mining Stock Daily to discuss the latest drilling at the Tolita Project in Chile’s Vicuña district, where the company continues to encounter broad gold-copper porphyry mineralization but believes it has yet to hit the heart of the system. Maresky explains why the latest diamond hole—mineralized across roughly 62% of its length—adds confidence that Tolita is a large porphyry system, with approximately 95% of the known anomaly still undrilled. The conversation also covers Gold Hart’s potential acquisition of the historic Copioso asset, plans to rapidly modernize its historical resource, and a broader strategy to acquire additional prospective ground across Chile.
Orezone Gold CEO Patrick Downey joins Mining Stock Daily to discuss the company’s transformation from a single-asset Burkina Faso producer into a diversified multi-mine gold company following its expansion into Canada. Downey outlines the growth plan for the newly acquired Casa Berardi operation, the unexpected development opportunity at Heva-Hosco in Quebec, and continued expansion at Bomboré, with Orezone targeting 230,000–240,000 ounces of production this year and a pathway toward 350,000 ounces annually. The conversation also covers exploration upside, growing cash flow, debt reduction and how Orezone plans to use its operating assets to fund its next stage of growth.
There are new drill results out from Cascadia Minerals and Gold Hart Copper. Scorpio Gold will attack the April Fool zone. DPM give an update on Vares. Aaron Schutt takes the lead at Alaska Silver.
