In the deep end of the pool you can't touch the bottom, you must be constantly active, alert & aware. I've always committed that I would be the guy who owns the deep end of the pool. I'm obsessed with hydration, breathing, nutrition and moving my body in the right ways. I don't ever want to lose my intensity and my presence in my company, or my personal life. Is your company growing the way you would like? Are your actions moving your forward and having the desired effect? If the answers are no, look at how you are taking care of yourself, how long can you keep treading water in the deep end?

Why have a daily huddle? What may seem like a waste of precious time to begin with, will actually save you so much time throughout your day. The huddle connects everyone and creates accountability within your team, if you can commit to a daily huddle you'll notice the distractions and breaks in your momentum will go down dramatically. If you're building a team the success of the company is not all on you. As a leader, the success of the company relies on your ability to lead a team. This means to have them join together as a cohesive unit that protects and helps each other. Leadership is what either makes a company grow or stagnate and fade.

The seven figure transition is tough! It can be so difficult because you can't keep running your business in the same way you always have. If you try to go through the seven figure transition alone it will chew you up and spit you out. The element of the business that has to transition the most is you, the entrepreneur.

I don't believe in the concept of 'one size fits all' it never works in real life and when it comes to building a team, it simply doesn't exist. Follow your own path and see how easy it can be to determine and eliminate your pain points by finding the right people for your team. Stop trying to use somebody else's system to build YOUR business.

If you're in a place where you feel stuck and can't create forward progress, stop and ask yourself 'how do I help someone and make a difference?' In business we get so busy, the focus is on selling or making the next deal but here's what I know about people like us, when we help people around us, we feel the positive effects. The easiest way to get back into momentum is to give it to somebody else.

If you're growing a business chances are you're living an overwhelming life where it seems you can find time to do everything other than taking care of yourself. This is where we need to do some rewiring, the reality is if you're not taking care of yourself, you're not optimized and you're not utilizing one of the greatest pathways to success. When we get weighed down by pressure and noise, future focus turns into daydreaming. Are you taking care of yourself enough to achieve what you actually want?
