  • 68 - Win the Day, Every Day

For entrepreneurs winning is important. Making progress, creating new outcomes in the world, and getting into momentum is everything for us. When we are in momentum we feel most alive and we create more momentum. When we feel constraint of any kind its throws us off and can prevent us from moving forward.

There is a simple and predictable way to make sure you win every day. You shouldn't compromise and except a day where you don't make progress, let the rest of the world do that, as an evolutionary hunter you should commit to forward progress daily.

Success is a daily imperative, this one simple strategy we'll make sure that success is yours every day.

  • 67 - You are Tolerating too Much

Every entrepreneur or I have ever worked with is tolerating far too much. It is who we are and in our nature to put up with things, overlook what we are uncomfortable, and be optimistic.

Our lives have conditioned us to be this way. Every one of us has been in a situation where we didn't have the right resources, time, money, the cards were stacked against us but still, somehow we pulled through. For many of us that this is exactly where we became who we are today.

As a result, we have permanently and indelibly linked struggle with success. So much so that in many cases we struggle when we don't have to. We tolerate things we shouldn't. And we allow people places and things in our lives that are robbing our momentum.

You can condition yourself to put a stop to this if you adopt one simple habit.

  • 65 - Throttling Unintentional Consumption

The amount of information available for an entrepreneur to consume today is unlimited. If you started today and listened to just the free content it's available you can spend all day every day and you would not come close to finishing what is available in your lifetime.

This presents an opportunity but also a challenge for entrepreneurs. The opportunity is the information we need to move forward from where we are today is available and we can go get it. The challenge is if we are clear on what we need and where we are, you can get into a loop of unintentional consumption that will rob us of our momentum.

There is a simple and elegant way to stop unintentional consumption. I have used this with hundreds of clients around the world to pull them out of the negative loop of consuming content without creating momentum.

  • 64 - Your Most Important Client

As entrepreneurs, we should all want engaging, passionate clients that are enthusiastic members of our tribe. We want them to be excited about the services we provide and share their excitement with others. When we are able to attract the right clients, and get them excited enough to talk about our business, our business becomes a movement, and movements create momentum.

Every great business in history and around today has been a business but has also been a social movement. When we look at the companies that garner the most respect and attention, they are clearly social movements. Tesla is changing the way people think about vehicles, Facebook has completely redefined community and communication, and Apple has redefined multiple market categories with a product line so focused it could fit on most conference rooms tables.

If you want your business to be regarded like these, then you must recognize your most important client. Many entrepreneurs overlooked them, or even actively ignore them.

Here is how to identify your most important client and use your interaction with them to strengthen and expand your company's social movement.

  • 63 - Movement Creates Momentum

Movement is crucial for Evolutionary Hunters. For millennia we existed on the move, chasing something down, and going on the hunt. Movement is as natural for us as oxygen is for the rest of human beings.

Unfortunately today we get a fraction of the movement that we used to get throughout history. Many evolutionary hunters like you and I spend a lot of time at a desk, in a car, or in meetings where we move very little. This can cause constraints that can create body aches and pains, inflammation, irritability, and rob us of our momentum.

It is important that we remember who we are, and move. Here are some strategies I use in order to incorporate movement throughout my day and maintain, or more importantly increase my momentum.

These are simple suggestions, but the vast majority of the world doesn't pay attention to them and will not have the unfair advantage that you will. Whether you are working on your own, navigating a conflict, or even just having a meeting with someone, movement can be a game changer, here's how.

  • 62 - Why $1,000,000 Businesses Still Feel Broken

Only 3% of businesses ever get to $1 million in annual gross sales. If you have achieved this already you are in the minority, it takes a lot to get a business over a million dollars…

You have to understand the value you are creating, understand your clients and the effect you can create with them, and then you can repeat that effect over and over again with a level of consistency.

Most entrepreneurs see hitting $1 million dollars in revenue as a number that will change everything for them. In a lot of ways it does, but not exactly how you would think. For most of us, hitting the $1 million mark doesn't mean things have necessarily gotten any easier - in a lot of ways, crossing the $1M barrier can make things harder on an entrepreneur.

Here are some tips on how to prepare to cross $1M in revenue and continue beyond 8 figures.

  • 61 - Tactical Meditation for the Evolutionary Hunter

If you asked me just a few years ago if I knew how to meditate, I probably would have said no and changed the subject. My relationship with meditation started when I was in my early teens. It has been a them session of mine for most of my life but I never thought that I was actually meditating.

Sure I reached the levels of clarity that lead to massive breakthroughs, through visualization I was able to create the future and make it real, and I was able to easily call myself an increased awareness on demand - but I still didn't think I was meditating.

The problem with meditation is the way it is explained makes it so obscure and difficult to understand that many evolutionary hunters turn away out of frustration. Here's my argument for why meditation is like a secret weapon for the evolutionary hunter. And for how you can begin tactical meditation right now did change her perception, increase your awareness, and create momentum like you never thought possible.

  • 60 - Double your Productivity in Two Weeks

DOUBLE YOUR PRODUCTIVITY IN TWO WEEKS

This is one of my most effective coaching tactics when working with a new client. The challenge that almost every one of us has is that we are doing entirely too much tactical work. Most of us know it. We feel the drag of doing far too much each day that doesn't feel productive or like our highest and best use.

The problem is for most of us that drag has been there for months if not years and we've done very little about it. Is difficult to wake ourselves up, and start offloading what we don't need to do. Most of us subconsciously just start going as fast as we can and before we know what we end up with part of our time giving us much less value than it should.

We all know who pays in the scenarios. Our families and our teams. Our families don't get the best of us because we are usually pushing ourselves too hard. Our teams don't get the best of us because we are doing too much tactical work we should have offloaded to them so they could help the company grow.

This is a tactic entrepreneurs for the last 20 years that has worked 100% of the time that someone has tried it. This successfully increases awareness, shows you exactly how to offload what you should not be doing, and will almost immediately show you how much more you can be getting out of your time.

  • 59 - Your Business Will Always Be Broken

When I'm coaching high-level entrepreneurs who are growing teams I have a phrase I share help them feel comfortable with growing their business "your business is broken and if things go well and always will be".

Far too many entrepreneurs expect their businesses to feel perfect, they beat themselves up over gaps or flaws, and they have challenges when things don't go exactly right. Businesses are meant to be broken, they are constantly shifting and adjusting to growth, market conditions, and things are going well an expanding team.

All of these dynamics can lead to challenges, issues, and constraint that you as the business owner will learn to adjust and move forward. Far too many business owners are trying to build the perfect business. The fact is the only business that is perfect, and doesn't have any problems, is one that is closed. Once you're out of business, there are no problems.

If you pursue a perfect business, you may end up without one. Instead understand that businesses break and each time we close a gap or correct an issue, our businesses get stronger.

  • 58 - What Only 1% of Companies Have

Only 3% of businesses will ever eclipse $1 million in gross revenue year. Only four out of 1000 businesses Will ever grow to over $10 million dollars a year. There is a reason. In order to grow foreword and get the help you need, you need to know what you're going. Most businesses work on a project by project basis deciding what to do in the moment and then trying to get everything done going forward.

The most successful organizations in the world are able to plan forward, know clearly where they are going, gain perspective along the way and most importantly share all of this with the entire team.

If your company is not doing this, regardless of how far you've gone, you are not reaching your full potential.
