Creating a profitable business

Hands up if your biz is your passion? Yup, I would bet money on the fact we’re all super enthused and LOVE what we do. Well you sort of have to if you’re going to succeed in your field because it’s PASSION that will fuel your fire and get you through the loooong days and nights.

Hands up if building your creative passion into a profitable business is an opportunity you haven’t fully expored? Dreams, creativity, talent and raw determination will only account for so much in biz. It’s a sad reality we all face daily.

This week, I’ve sourced an EXPERT in creating profitable businesses from creative passions. This lady is THE REAL DEAL, and I’m sure many of you have run into her around the traps. She’s a MWH Biz Club Member who is constantly offering on-point advice to makers, creators and Biz Mums.

Introducing Mikaela, the founder of The Makers’ Co. The Makers’ Co is an online collective, which prides themselves on encouraging makers and creatives to follow their own path in their creative adventures. There’s courses, forums, support networks and a WEALTH of knowledge available for creatives in biz. Mikaela began her career as a teacher and also studied graphic design but slowly began feeling uninspired in her current workplace. SO, she spent a YEAR dreaming, researching and willing her biz into being before launching In February 2014.

When she’s not elbow deep in The Makers Co, she is busy #mumlifing with her two gorgeous children. She lives in Canberra with her family and loves every minute of it. This chick is a full go getter who knows what she wants out of life and goes for it. I can’t wait for you to get stuck in!
