Objectification is to treat another person like an object, because of a lack of empathy, lack of reciprocity or lack of connection. This webinar describes in great detail the objectification cycle that people get stuck in and the effect it has on relationships. The cycle begins with a person experiencing hurt, learning ways not to feel the hurt, and then seeing other people the way one see oneself, and treating them accordingly. With this assumption that others don't feel hurt as well, one begins to treat others like an object. This webinar explores ways to address the objectification of others and gives parents some tools to help interrupt the cycle.
