On this episode, Linda McKissack and Dana Gentry talk to One Million Followers Author Brendan Kane about his perspective on social media tactics.  He talks about how he became fascinated by social media as it gained popularity, and how he quickly dove into understanding everything about it from effective eCommerce strategies to the psychology of how the platforms work.  After asking a literary agent if they would publish his book if he could get 1 Million followers in 30 days and the agent saying yes, he made it happen, and now has a large following.  He now helps people and companies figure out what their specific goals are with social media, and crafts solutions to fit that person's ideal scenario.  He shares how he doesn't think you should narrow in too much on your audience, how quality is more important than quantity and how important it is to constantly be testing your strategies so you can learn how to improve them.
