We have had Pararescue Chief Master Sergeant (CMSgt) Ivan Ruiz on a couple times before- he's a close friend to all of us here at Ones Ready, and has always been an example of "how to do it the right way." Now, as Ivan is making his way into the next phase of his life, he sits down and reflects mid-stream about what all that means.
You heard his awesome advice in part one- but we had to split this one up into a special two-part series so Ivan could dig into some real talk for the next generation.
Huge thanks to Ivan for coming on and being real, he has an open invite and can come on whenever he wants. Let us know if you have questions for Ivan in the comments!
00:00 Hit up Eberlestock for every bag and piece of tech gear you could need
01:55 Have the career fields changed that much?
04:30 Aaron traps Ivan and makes him King for a Day and the Enabler Mission
15:40 Pararescue and the future
22:20 Ivan's advice for Pipeline students
35:10 Aaron and Trent talk about lessons learned from the pod

Before there was Air Force Special Tactics, there was Chief Master Sergeant retired Wayne Norrad. Chief Norrad started his career before the Air Force knew precisely what Combat Control was going to be and ended his career as the Second AFSOC Command Chief, and the accepted Godfather of what we know Special Tactics to be today.
Chief Norrad is the definition of the word "legend", which is why we asked him to come on and tell us his story; and we are pumped to bring you Part 2!!!
Huge thanks to Chief Norrad; we genuinely appreciate his impact on Combat Control and Air Force Special Tactics as a whole!

The Ones Ready team tries to stay in the lane- we aren't reporters, we try and just provide the platform to promote like minded people, but we still have some opinions on things. Aaron and Peach went in on a couple topics below and talked about a wide range of things- this was another episode we have had in the completed folder for a while and just haven't had the space to put it out- until now.
From leadership and second chances and long rants from Aaron (standard, not fun) and Peaches (humble, approachable, credible), hopefully you all get something out of this one- we certainly did! Especially that Subway is your last resort for food on every military base and I am convinced that there are no Subways in the wild. Yeah I know there are, shut up.
Thanks for spending this time with us and we have a lot more content for you guys in the coming weeks and months. What else would you like to see? Drop it as if the temperature prevented you from holding it properly!

The recruiting process for the Air National Guard is distinct for a lot of different reasons, and sometimes that can get confusing. We brought on one of our friends, Guard Recruiter TSgt Anissa Testaverde! She is a TACP and EOD pro from the 147th Attack Wing!
Peaches and TSgt Testaverde break everything down from the ASVAB to shipping out. If you have any questions, drop them below in the comments.
Follow TSgt Testaverde on IG @tsgt_anissa_testaverde for all your AFSPECWAR recruiting information.

This was one of those that we just hit record and saw what happened. In true Ones Ready fashion, we covered a lot of ground, and didn't really have a true outline. We start out talking self-improvement, ethical decision making at the like.
But along the way we took a ton of detours and this one was truly just some dudes talking and laying out concepts.
Hopefully, you like this one and it starts some friendships in the comment section!
