OpenAI has unveiled a new artificial intelligence model called Sora. It can create highly realistic videos of up to a minute long from simple text prompts.

The company says the tool will initially only be available to a small group of artists and filmmakers to gain feedback, and to "red team" researchers who will assess risk.

Has Sora just kickstarted the era of generative video? What does it mean for the future of creative art? And will it accelerate the proliferation of disinformation with easier access to deepfake videos?

Host Zhao Ying is joined by Edgar Perez, business author and CEO of MrEdgarPerez.com; Liu Shaoshan, Director of Embodied Intelligence, Shenzhen Institute of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics for Society (AIRS); and Lyu Lei, Research Associate with Institutes of Science and Development, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
