Brigid Tigmeier is a registered dietitian who emphasizes on using nutrition over conventional drugs as a treatment option. She champions the idea of functional medicine because she once experienced being healed through dietary changes instead of prescription pills. She is also a health coach who has helped thousands of people transform their lives.

Brigid joins us to share how functional medicine helped change her life for the better. She discusses the time she saw functional medicine as a weird fad and the moment that ultimately made her pursue a career in it. She explains how simply going with diet trends is harmful and how people develop orthorexia because of it.
