π THE MISSION (SUMMARY)
Most men try to lead by explaining harder. Dredd argues that's the last step in the process, not the first β and if you start there, nobody's listening.
Dredd opens up about a framework he uses in his own church to move men from confusion to conviction: the Agitator, named for the fins inside a washing machine that grind dirt out of clothes before they're usable. He's spent 19 years applying it to his own walk before ever applying it to anyone else's β and he's candid that embodiment isn't a finished state, it's a daily rebuild.
The core framework is four fins β Embody, Engage, Explain, Encourage β anchored in Be-Know-Do (straight out of Army leadership doctrine) and traced through scripture: 1 John 2:5-6 for embodiment, John 3:16 and the "milk before meat" approach for explaining, and Luke 22:31-32 β Satan sifting Peter β for why encouragement means preparing a man for opposition, not shielding him from it.
The Plague pulls the thread into F3 directly: planting a workout, engaging the Sad Clown, and the Sur/Ser continuum β landing on "acceleration," Dredd's answer to the temptation to arrive. No plateaus. No finish line. No end zone. Just a little more than yesterday, applied to fitness, fellowship, faith β and, as both men note, to work and home too.
