About
First and foremost, I am blessed with two boys, Brayden the BRAVE and Alexander the GREAT; and am lucky to be married 19 years to my beautiful best friend Niki.
I read at least 50+ books a year for the last 10 years which has taught me how to build a mortgage business on a foundation of models/systems/standards vs just on my talents! I’ve been mentored by the best coaches in the industry like Todd Duncan, John Maxwell, and Gary Keller.
I learned how to build a team back in 2013 when I was only closing $36,000,000 a year to now 10 years later my team closes over $200,000,000 a year. Since then, I’ve built the team through the lens of building leverage that affords me 20+ weeks of vacation outside of the office while still earning a blessed income all 52 weeks of the year.
Some of my proudest accomplishments is not my production however, it’s teaching up the next generation of loan officers. Empowering them on how to build a business on proven models, systems, and standards that are scalable from day one. All this while focusing on family life and growing your wealth, not just making a W2 mortgage income. I’m looking forward to the opportunity of learning how to add value to you.

Listen in as Erin and Matt discuss:
Matt grew up in Rochester, NY as the son of a dialysis nurse and general laborer at Genesee Brewery. After losing his parents to health issues in his 20s, Matt descended into an existential crisis. How could two hard working Americans doing everything the “right” way struggle financially their whole life and then die young with little to no savings? Matt looked around and found that his parents weren’t the only ones victim to this, and if he didn’t do something to drastically change his trajectory, he would wind up the same way. He wanted to be present for family. He never wanted money to be the reason why him and his family couldn’t act on their dreams or aspirations. He needed to find a way to “exit the Matrix.” He made it his life long goal to become “retired” by his 40th birthday. Building wealth in real estate was the way. After obsessively pursuing this lofty goal; thinking about it everyday over 10 years, he achieved financial freedom by his 33rd birthday. You might think that this moment was euphoric, however the moment Matt realized that he achieved his life long goal, he descended into depression. After spending weeks introspecting and reading, he was able to reinvent himself and develop a new vision beyond the confines of his life on Earth so that he would never have to go through the painful process of reinventing himself again.
Today, Matt is Partner at OakGrove Development, a real estate investment and development firm with a special focus on value-add commercial and residential properties in Rochester, NY. Over the last 18 years, Matt has been in real estate management, brokerage and development and grown his portfolio to 176 units of residential and commercial property. His company mission is in developing real estate projects that not only add value to their investors but also puts long term community interests front and center. Matt believes that you can do well and do good as a real estate developer and that ultimately community centric development boosts long term profits for investors.

How to Connect With TimHarley is a seasoned real estate investor, entrepreneur, and former software architect who knows firsthand the struggles of juggling multiple business demands while striving for growth and success. After earning his Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California, Harley embarked on a career in the defense industry, where he led cutting-edge projects in signal processing and machine learning.
In 2011, Harley and his wife, Adrienne, moved to Northern Virginia, where they started a homestead and began their real estate journey by renting out their basement. Over the next nine years, they expanded their portfolio, acquiring turnkey condos and navigating the complexities of real estate investing.
In 2020, the Greens relocated to Chattanooga, TN, to tap into a burgeoning real estate market and improve their overall quality of life for their now family of 5. They diversified their strategies, engaging in flipping, BRRRR (Buy, Rehab, Rent, Refinance, Repeat), and used 1031 exchanges to transition to higher performing assets like oceanfront short-term rentals. They also invested in syndications to diversify their portfolio and manage workload effectively. By 2022, their investments had yielded significant returns, enabling Harley to step down from his role in the defense industry. Leveraging his workplace retirement accounts, he converted them into self-directed IRAs to further invest in real estate and provide capital for other investors to acquire and renovate properties.
Determined to find a solution to the unproductive tasks that consumed time managing the investment portfolio and Adrienne’s real estate team, Harley explored various Virtual Assistant options, only to be met with disappointment. This led him to create Workergenix, a virtual professional business designed to eliminate the hassle and frustration of outsourcing. Workergenix makes it incredibly easy and affordable for businesses to leverage skilled virtual professionals, allowing businesses to focus on growth and success.
In 2024, after successfully selling Adrienne’s high-performing real estate team, Harley and Adrienne embraced a digital nomadic lifestyle with their 3 young children. They continue to invest in real estate and businesses as they live abroad, while sharing their knowledge and experiences to help others achieve financial independence and success. Harley is passionate about empowering others to achieve business and lifestyle freedom. By leveraging people, finances, systems, and technology, he has transformed his life, enabling him and his family to travel the world full-time.
Through his innovative approach, Harley has mastered the art of creating a life that balances business success with personal fulfillment. He enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures with his wife and three children, all while running successful businesses from anywhere in the world. When he’s not helping others achieve their dreams through virtual professionals, Harley assists investors in building wealth through strategic real estate partnerships and networking. His journey is a testament to the possibilities of living a life of freedom and fulfillment by effectively managing and leveraging resources.

About
I was born and raised in Denver in a family of Realtors, before it was “cool” to be from here. There was no light-rail, LoDo or Highlands Ranch and our airport was in the heart of Stapleton. Places like RiNo, LoHi and the Highlands were just called the “North-side” and the Broncos and Nuggets were the only game in town. You could get from one side of the city to the other in less than 20 minutes.
The son of a single Mom/Realtor, I answered buyer calls and joined her on showing and listing appointments, waiting for her in the car wishing I could drive. My great grandfather started selling homes in the 50’s when deals were written on napkins and done by a hand shake. My Grandmother joined him and gave the business a more professional approach, running a successful business and not just making a few bucks.
For 20 years I have done a lot in real estate: selling, managing, recruiting, leading, merging, coaching and now as an operator in the prop tech space. I love coaching, as I see the outsider’s perspective to a problem and find ways around it. I thrive on helping others find a way to reach their goals in ways they didn’t know were there. No two people are alike, nor are their challenges, which is part of the fun of coaching.
With a personal approach to business and the connection to personal life, we find the balance between both and align them to perform at the highest level. I am part mechanic, making sure that the wheels of life are fully aligned with the steering and suspension that drives us.
I don't sell many homes these days but my team, The Knoll Team, are some of the best Realtors in the market, and my favorite people in the world. Realty, leadership and innovation are my passion and I love to share conversations with others who feel the same. Find me if that is you!!
