Welcome back to Real Health Radio. My guest today is Chevy Rough. Chevy is a high performance coach, with a focus on performance breathing, stress management, executive coaching, running and mental health. But it’s been quite a journey to get here.
At age 17 Chevy began working in the city, confused and lacking direction. This lead to 16 years of depression, drink and drugs as he tried to grow from a boy into a man.
In his 30s he hit rock bottom and living with addiction, he knew he wouldn’t make it if he stayed on the same path. He found strength in running and a running community, cleaned up and decided to leave his career in the city in 2015.
Chevy’s career is now geared towards on the exploration of helping everyday people understand how to connect the dots between mind and body for improved performance in the gym, the office, and life, using the tools evolution has provided such as movement, performance breathing, and state control.
Chevy is also a Consultant and Global Ambassador for ASICS, helping them to redefine their offering to an ever-evolving consumer base.
